“Nancy was great! We used her for the first time with our two cats for daily visits. She arranged a meeting right away to meet us and the cats. Then she completed the visits with photos via Rover each day, and our cats were happy the whole time (as were we to know they were getting visits from a professional sitter like Nancy). We'll use her again and had already booked our next trip with her. I highly recommend her. Very kind, loving toward our kitties and us, and we didn't have to worry the whole time we were away.”

“Maya did an amazing job, she communicated daily and when we got home it was like we never left. I felt totally at ease leaving my elderly cat with her. Thank you so much Maya!”

“Alison was great! She asked good questions during the meet & greet and was very personable. She sent pictures throughout her stay. We came home to a clean house. Our cat is happy! We would definitely book her again.”

“Naomi is so wonderful! She was quick to respond to a last minute holiday booking. She didn't hesitate to come for a meet and greet and she even found our carpet cleaner to get a mess our old kitty man made. We can rest easy knowing he will be well cared for while we are away. Will rebook again! Thank you Naomi!”

“We entrusted our two kittys with Abby while we were gone for 10 days. During that period, Abby kept us informed of her daily drop-in visits, including photos of our elusive critters. Upon our return, we found them in great condition, and they were not mad at us for leaving them with a then "stranger." Will definitely ask Abby to care for Larry & Bella the next time the need arises.”

About: My goal is to make you feel as stress-free as possible while you are away. Being a dog-owner myself, I know it can be anxiety-inducing to leave your pets behind, especially with someone you may not be very familiar with. I am an excellent communicator, and I hope that I can give you the peace of mind you need to fully enjoy your time away, knowing that your furry family member is safe and being well-taken care of. I grew up with pets - dogs (all shapes and sizes), cats, horses, and even pet rats - and love spending time with animals! I did dog-sitting through Rover when I was in grad school in Alaska. I've had a gap in my dogsitting work (last once was in 2020) while I was working in a demanding full-time job, but I'm excited to return to dogsitting this summer! I work from home, and I have a very flexible schedule. I walk my dogs on the beach every day for 30-60 minutes, sometimes twice a day. If you are planning on going on a sport-fishing charter and need a place for your dog to be for the day, think of me! I am available for early morning drop-offs for doggy day-care if scheduled before 9pm the night before. **If I am doing a homestay or your dog is staying at my place for the day, my two Alaskan huskies Murphy and Precious will be with me.** They are very good with other dogs, and they are very calm, chill, and house-trained. I am happy to maintain your dogs' routine and schedule to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I try to send daily photos of your pet and give a little update on how the day went. I don't take dogs for off-leash walks while in my care. I am very safety conscious and aware that sometimes animals act differently when their family isn't around, and so I am careful and vigilant while I am responsible for your animal. I am happy to continue any training programs you may have with your animals.

About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, feed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. If there is anything in particular you wanna know feel free to ask. I currently am a homemaker and do have my own vehicle. I currently have a very open schedule but I do not drive. My partner drives me (or animals!) wherever I need to go. First things first I like to have a conversation with the clients about their pet specific needs and schedules. If a, “In-home” pet sitting is needed, I also like to go over any house or home rules. This can vary depending on the animal.

“Gwendolyn took great care of my two cats while I was gone. The older one takes a lot of medications and the younger one needs a fair amount of attention. Gwendolyn gave my two babies all they needed and more. Plus, the place looked great when I returned. Would definitely recommend!”
