About: I’ve had dogs all my life and love spending time with them. From grumpy chihuahuas to friendly bulldogs, I believe every animal is deserving of patience, love, and care. I’m currently off work for the summer with a lot of flexibility to care for your fur babies. Weekdays or weekends, I’m happy to accommodate to your schedule. I have a masters in social work and I bring care that I would give my clients to your animals. Social workers are bound by a code of ethics which we bring to our work with vulnerable populations. I bring those same principles of safety, confidentiality, and care to my time with your pets or property.

About: I’m an emergency veterinary technician, grew up in a farm surrounded by animals and learned at a very young age that they are my passion. Have worked with all sorts of animals throughout the years so i have a very broad knowledge for caring for your pets. Friends and family have always come to me to care, sit, walk, and tend to all their pet care needs. Although working at a veterinary clinic, I’m still available full-time for your pet care needs! I’m very flexible when it comes to you and your pets schedule so i work around you guys! I provide around the clock care when it comes to playtime, walks, and feedings! I have a large fenced yard with lots of green lush grass and a covered patio where your dog can play with my own pups. I keep my dogs indoors in a secured playpen and my cats have their own cat room away from everyone. One of my senior dogs is diabetic and receives insulin injections twice a day. I am professionally prepared and comfortable to take care of any of your pets needs. I work closely with doctors which means easy access for any on the spot care if needed or for future needs/advice! I'm currently working as a veterinary nurse some days of the week and am a college student thats fully remote. I'm actively trying to occupy my free days by helping fellow pet owners with their pet care needs 7 days a week. Growing up on a ranch and working in veterinary medicine it was kinda hard to refrain from owning so many animals. My fur babies goes as follows. I have a goat, a cockatiel, indoor cats, dogs, peacocks and cattle. Although I have help with my outdoor animals, I fully tend to all our indoor animals. Each pet has a strict diet and bathroom regime that I follow prior to my shifts and post shifts. I'm structured to say the least, especially when it comes to animals and you can expect nothing less when it comes to your pets.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old when I got my first dog. She lived for almost 16 years, and I was responsible for her care every single day, including administering daily heart medication during her senior years. I’ve also had cats and other small pets, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and needs. I enjoy caring for puppies as well as small and medium-sized dogs. Since I spend most of my time at home, your pet will always get plenty of love, attention, and companionship. I’m home full-time and have a very flexible schedule, which means your pet will get plenty of love, playtime, and attention throughout the day. Since I don’t have other pets or children at home, I can fully focus on making your furry friend feel safe and cared for. I provide a calm and safe environment with no other pets or children in the home. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully to keep routines consistent and make pets feel comfortable. Whether it’s giving medication, going for walks, or simply offering cuddles, I treat every pet like my own.

About: I have had multiple pets since I was about 10 years old! I used to train and ride ponies and horses, but now I just focus on my dog, Miel. I took her in as a puppy and trained her during COVID. I have also previously taken care of weeks old puppies that required to be bottle fed multiple times a day and throughout the night. I am currently working full time and volunteering at a clinic after work (M/T/TH). I am available after work on Wednesdays, Fridays, and the weekends. I am also available during lunch (flexible hours) on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am also available for holidays! To ensure safety I approach pets slowly and give them a chance to come up to me first. I am also aware that some pets can have food restrictions so I would ask before providing or exposing them to any treats, toys, other personal items.

I cannot recommend Aiden enough and from the first meeting it was clear that Aidan truly loves dogs. Bandit can be quite picky around to people and took to Aiden immediately. For Bandit, walking is a mini adventure and Aidan takes the time to explore the entire neighborhood and for the dog It's always exciting. Aiden makes sure that Bandit is safe and well-cared-for which is very important to me as Bandit is an older dog. Aidan is reliable punctual and always goes above and beyond whether it's accommodating schedule changes or spending a little of extra time with Bandit their dedication is unmatched. If you are looking for someone who would treat your dog with the same love and care you do. You should look no further.Thank you Aiden, Bandit and I are incredibly grateful for your exceptional service.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your San Carlos. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in San Carlos.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in San Carlos. On Rover:

  • 69% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
