“Dileidy and her husband were so kind and took such great care of our dog Lucy! We were nervous about leaving her close to the 4th of July, but they put us at ease and checked in and sent photos, and we’re accommodating when we had to pick her up a little later. Thank you both!”

About: Grew up on a farm caring for animals since my youth. now enjoy the company of visiting dogs, just like I had with my own. I currently work part-time and many situations able to bring a boarding dog with me; as I work with mostly older folks who would love the sweetness of a dog visit; considered therapy. I have a side fenced yard, safe from the road, and only do private walks in a comfortable grass field near my home, leashed and one at a time for individual attention.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, presence, and attention I bring to every pet I look after. As a stay-at-home mom, I have the flexibility and availability to give pets consistent companionship and supervision throughout the day. I understand how important routines, comfort, and trust are—especially when someone else is caring for a beloved pet. I’m naturally nurturing, detail-oriented, and communicative, which means you’ll always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every pet like part of the family, because to me, they truly are. I’m a stay at home mom of 2 wonderful animal adoring children. Because I’m home throughout the day, your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, and care. During their stay, your pet will experience all the best parts of our family just as if they were our own. When caring for your pets in a clients home, I do my best to adhere to all routines and schedules so the pets can feel as comfortable as possible. I will respect your home and keep everything clean, organized, and calm. I’m more than happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel comfortable and at ease while you’re away. My goal is to provide a loving and safe environment for you and your pet so you can rest assured knowing that they are being taken care of to your standards.

About: Hi! I’m Ashley — a lifelong dog lover and trainer with over 23 years of experience in rescue, rehabilitation, fostering, and behavioral support. From puppies to seniors, shy dogs to leash-reactive ones, I’ve cared for them all. I currently live seasonally on a peaceful campground through November, which offers dogs plenty of enrichment with long nature walks, social interaction, and lots of time outdoors (weather permitting). I’m accepting: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • House sitting • Doggy day care (1-2 dogs only) • Boarding (1 dog at a time, up to 80 lbs) As a stay-at-home dog mom living on a seasonal campground, pet care is built into my daily life. I’m available most days for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and doggy day care. Your pup will enjoy outdoor time, structure, and plenty of attention alongside my sweet and well-trained dog, Delilah. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure, and structured environment at our spacious, private corner campsite with no immediate neighbors — ideal for dogs who need peace, space, and freedom to relax. The location also allows for easy, stress-free drop-off and pick-up. I have secure tie-outs, crates, and leashes to meet each dog’s unique needs. Whether your pup enjoys structured walks, lounging in the shade, or sniffing around camp, I offer a safe, enriching experience with plenty of mental stimulation. Dogs are never left unattended, and their boundaries are always respected. My setup is flexible and tailored to your dog’s temperament, energy level, and comfort with others. Whether we’re resting or exploring, your dog will be treated like one of my own.

About: I've had the privilege of caring for a variety of animals over the years. From mice, rabbits, dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks - I love to pamper them all! I've learned to understand each animals' individual needs and am hyperfocused in their comfort. Being a committed pet parent, I've experienced and indulged in all the milestones - so I'm ready for the puppy edition all the way through caring for your senior family member. Being very detailed oriented and personally spoiling my own critters, I can support even the most high maintenance of fur babies! My fiancé (also on Rover!) ensure your furbaby is entertained around the clock! I work from home and handle the early bird shift, including your pup in the sunrise (bright snd early) farm chores. My fiancé provides the daytime activities including long walks and hikes on our farm, supervised yard time, play time. Evening activities include additional walks and games. Pups will have their last walk and tucked in for the night around 1030PM. I am extremely conscious of pet safety and following instructions provided by owners. When pets are at my home, they will not have any interaction with other animals- just me and my fiancé (who is also on Rover!). Dogs will always be on a leash, with the exception of being enclosed in a secure fenced in area. We have a 1 acre fenced in yard where dogs can have supervised zoomie time. Dogs will never be left unattended in the yard. Our fur guests spending the day or night will have their own room with a bed, crate (if preferred for their comfort or if they are beavers), ad lib water, etc.

“Peter was great with my very energetic pup! He called a day before the appointment to make sure all my preferences are met. Very flexible with the times I requested. Most importantly, I was confident that my puppy was safe and enjoying himself. Peter’s home is dog friendly and he was kind enough to send me a picture of my beloved pup. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Izzy had a great time with Cindy! Cindy is not only a great pet sitter, but a great trainer as well. She taught Izzy some new tricks and we can tell that she got lots of attention. We look forward to our next visit with Cindy!”

“Samantha is a great communicator, is very sweet and obviously loves animals. Tiller attempted to return into her home when we came to pick him up! Samantha also provided a great Rover Report with quality photos! Certainly recommend and we will contact Samantha again the next time we need doggy day care or sitting in the area!”

About: Hi there! I'm Ashley, a lifelong dog lover and work-from-home mom ready to give your pup the care and comfort they deserve. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs, especially after caring for my fur daughter, my sweet long-haired Chihuahua who was by my side for 17 wonderful years. I understand the slower pace and extra TLC that older pups need, and I’m here to provide just that. We’ve also had two German Shepherd mixes in the past, so I’m no stranger to larger breeds. While I typically prefer small to medium-sized dogs for our home setup, I’m open to exceptions for well-mannered larger dogs — especially seniors. Because I work from home and my kids are at daycare during the day, it’s just me and your pup…which means plenty of calm, one-on-one attention and companionship in a quiet environment. I know how stressful it can be to find care you trust…especially when options in our area are limited. That’s why I treat every dog like family, with love, routine, and lots of affection. I’ll care for your furry loved one as if they were my own and will happily share updates and photos as often as you'd like to give you peace of mind while you're away. I provide attentive, loving care while fitting seamlessly into my daily routine. Because I work from home with a lot of flexibility, I can offer daily daycare with plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. I’m also happy to provide overnight boarding for dogs who need a home-away-from-home. Throughout, I’ll keep you updated as much as you’d like, so you always feel comfortable and connected. I care for dogs in a safe, comfortable home environment where your dog will be treated like a valued family member. While I don’t have a fenced backyard, your dog will always be supervised and safe. They’re always free to explore and relax throughout the home. Because pets are part of the family, we often allow them on the couch and beds to snuggle and feel at home, but I’m always happy to follow your preferences to make sure your fur baby feels comfortable and loved.

About: Animals are the best friends in our lives and deserve attentive care and respect, as well as an active life of curiosity and steady love! I am available this summer pretty much all the time. Those days when I am not available will not be on my schedule thank you! At my house we have four acres to run around on and a long private road with very little traffic where we can explore together (with a leash). There is a lot of fresh air and fun natural smells coming up from the woods to investigate!

“Angus really helped us out on short notice. We had a chance for fun the next day of our vacation and we had no place for our dog Maggie. Angus came to our rescue at the last minute and did a great job with Maggie to boot! It seemed like they were old friends when we picked her up. I would recommend Angus every time”

About: I have over 30 years experience with dogs working with my mother who bred Golden Retrievers since 1990 at Maplenook Goldens. I've also worked through my college years with over 5 families pet and house sitting and loved it! Also worked with Ledgewood Kennels and taken obedience and breed handling classes at Southlands in Rhinebeck NY. I would love to have a part time job and working and training dogs is my dream job. I’ve been working on getting my Dog training certificate to teach classes or work with individuals who needs help. I have two beautiful friendly Golden females that are like my children, both spayed. We have a fenced in yard where we play, go for walks around the neighborhood, celebrate their doggy birthdays. We do weekly obedience training, scent training, and lots of playing! The same care and love I give to my girls is the same I'd give to your fur babies.

About: I've taken care of dogs for the past 8 years. We (my husband and I) have rescued and adopted 3 dogs all within the past 5 years. We live on a large piece of land and have plenty of room to play fetch and go on walks. We even have a stream for a little dip or sip. We are patient and love to play over here. I believe cuddles and attention are extremely important! I work from home so I am around a lot and am always with the dogs, they are never alone. I am able to take them out regularly for walks and to play. We tend to go outside quite a bit on a nice day. I have a large property away from the road. We have a gate and a meadow nestled back in the woods where there are no cars in sight. We have a small fenced in area if that is what a particular dog needs to spend some time outside.

“We were in town for an event and needed someone to watch our 5 month old puppy for the day. Christine was perfect! She is so nice and has a friendly boxer puppy. My puppy can be aloof with strangers but he took to Christine immediately even letting her hold him right away. Christine's yard is perfect and our puppies played all day. I would go back to Christine's anytime we are back in Queens.”

For in-home visits, I take care to follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, maintaining consistency with feeding, exercise routines, and any medications. I always ensure that the home is secure during my visits and that pets feel comfortable and relaxed in their own familiar surroundings. Communication with the owner is key, and I provide regular updates to ensure peace of mind.

I am always very nervous about leaving Rosie with anyone and Nicole was wonderful about sending me photos and updates. Rosie was clearly having a very good time and that was because Nicole and her family clearly enjoyed Rosie so much. I am delighted to recommend Nicole for dog sitting anytime.”

“I don’t know if I’ve met anyone who adores dogs as much as Ashley. She is a superb trainer who maintains the capacity to lovingly correct unwanted behavior. She has an uncanny ability to connect with dogs and can easily read the subtle messages they present. She is especially astute when it comes to working with bully breeds as she has been a pit/staffy momma for 20 years. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs assistance with their fur baby.”

Kimiko & Benjamin C.
“If you’re lucky enough to know Kim, then you already know what a truly special person she is—especially when it comes to animals. Her connection with them is something you can’t teach; it’s just part of who she is. I’ve never met anyone more patient, kind, or intuitive when it comes to caring for animals. My dogs adore her, and honestly, so do I. She is the only person I trust to watch over them when I’m away. Knowing they’re with Kim means I can fully relax, because I know they’re not only safe, but also genuinely loved. She doesn’t just care for them—she treats them like family. Kim is a rare gem, and I’m so grateful to have her (and so are my pups!).”
