“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter than Jasmine! She took care of our almost one-year-old German Shepherd, and she did an absolutely awesome job. Our 65-pound boy can be a bit of a "brat" sometimes, but Jasmine opened her home and heart to him, treating him like her own. It made us feel so comfortable knowing he was in such great hands. Jasmine was fantastic about keeping us updated, sending us adorable photos and texts about how he was doing throughout the day. The peace of mind this gave us was priceless! If you're looking for someone trustworthy, loving, and reliable for your dog, especially a big, energetic one, look no further. Highly, highly recommend Jasmine!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for them. I’m a dog mom myself, so I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust with your pet. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, routines, medications, and lots of attention. I’ll treat your pet like part of the family and make sure you get plenty of updates while they’re with me. I work a hybrid schedule and am home Thursdays and Fridays, which gives me plenty of flexibility for daytime care, walks, and check-ins. I’m also available most evenings Monday through Wednesday and have greater flexibility on weekends. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine. I have a friendly dog of my own and understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. I keep a calm, clean home and make sure pets have plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and downtime. I’m careful with introductions and will follow your feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions closely. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

About: ****NEW/CHANGED******IF you are looking to board or doggy daycare please read that section either new customer or repeat customer Hi there! If you're new to booking with me, please take a minute to read through my profile—it helps me get to know what you're looking for and helps you know exactly what to expect from me! I've been on Rover since November 2024, but my experience with animals goes back much further, with over six years of consistent pet care experience. I've cared for dogs of all different sizes, ages, and personalities, as well as cats and many other animals. At home, I have quite the crew myself—two dogs, fish, and a tortoise—so caring for animals is a pretty big part of everyday life for me! BOARDING & DOGGY DAYCARE 🏡🐾 PLEASE NOTE: BOARDING & DOGGY DAYCARE SERVICES BEGIN December 1ST! Beginning December 1st, my fiancé and I will offer boarding and doggy daycare together from our home! We want our home to truly feel like your dog's home away from home—a place where they can play, relax, get plenty of attention, and be treated like part of the family while you're away. For boarding and doggy daycare, we only accept dogs from ONE FAMILY at a time. This also is because we have 1 dogs of our own. This applies to our boarding and daycare schedule combined, meaning we will not have dogs from multiple unrelated families staying with us at the same time. The only exception is when the dogs already know one another prior to their stay and all owners are comfortable with them being together. We chose to do this intentionally so we can provide more individualized attention, maintain a calmer and safer environment, and make your dog's stay feel more like being at home than being at a traditional boarding facility. Your pup won't be one of a house full of unfamiliar boarding dogs—they'll get to be part of our family while they're here! Having both my fiancé and me involved also means an extra set of hands for playtime, potty breaks, cuddles, supervision, and all the little things that go into keeping your pup happy and comfortable. We understand that every dog is different, so we're happy to follow their normal feeding schedule, routines, training cues, and preferences as closely as possible. HOUSE SITTING & DROP-INS 🐕 House sitting and drop-ins are provided by me (Trinity) personally. During drop-in visits, I'm also happy to take your dog for a walk if requested! I work full-time as a Pharmacy Technician, typically from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m., on a 7-on / 7-off rotation. This gives me a lot of flexibility, especially during my weeks off. I'm still available for bookings during my work weeks as long as your pets are comfortable being alone during my working hours. For house-sitting stays, I always make sure your pets are fed, have plenty of outdoor time, and are comfortable and settled before I leave for work. Whenever you send a request, I'll let you know right away if your dates fall during one of my work weeks so there are never any surprises. Most importantly, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else's care. Whether they're spending the day with us, staying overnight in our home, or I'm caring for them in yours, they'll be treated with the same patience, attention, and love I'd want for my own animals. You can expect plenty of communication, updates, and pictures along the way! I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has trusted me with their furry (or scaly!) family members, and I'm always excited to meet a new one. ❤️🐾 I currently work full-time as a Pharmacy Technician, typically from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. I’m now on a 7-on / 7-off rotation, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pets. I’m available before or after my shifts for drop-ins, walks, or house sitting — as long as your pets are comfortable being on their own during my work hours. For house-sitting stays, I always make sure they’re well-fed, get outdoor time, and feel safe and loved before I head to work. When taking care of animals in other people's homes, I would prioritize their comfort and well-being by following specific instructions provided by the pet owner. I would ensure they have access to fresh water, appropriate food, and a clean living environment. Engaging in regular playtime and exercise would help keep them happy and active, while also providing companionship. I would also monitor their health and behavior closely, watching for any signs of distress or illness, and maintain open communication with the pet owner to keep them updated on their furry friends.

About: I had German Shepherds, Welsh Corgis, a Jindo, and a mixed-breed dog back in Korea, and all of them were well trained. When I meet a new dog, I try to become their friend by making gentle eye contact, lowering myself to their eye level, and offering my hand while patiently waiting until they feel I am safe. I have also dealt with aggressive dogs several times, and in the end, they too became my friends. Since I work from home with flexible time during the week, I have not had my own pet yet because I felt it would be unfair to leave them alone for long hours. However, on weekends I usually dedicate time to myself through photography, driving, and hiking, and I would truly enjoy having the company of your dog or cat during those times. Taking care of a pet would naturally fit into my routine as part of those weekend activities, giving me both companionship and joy while also ensuring the pet has quality time and attention. In my home, I would care for pets as if they were my own friends—providing attention, playtime, and walks, even on rainy days, to make sure they stay active and happy. In a client’s home, I would first ask about any rules or restrictions, such as areas of the house that are off-limits, preferred snacks, daily routines, and any medical concerns. I believe following the owner’s guidance is very important to ensure the pet feels comfortable and safe in their familiar environment.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the level of personalized care, attention to detail, and genuine love I bring to every pet I care for. I don’t just show up to feed and walk—I take time to understand each animal’s routine, personality, and special needs. Whether it's a shy cat who needs extra patience, a high-energy dog who loves long walks, or a senior pet with medication needs, I adjust my care to make them feel comfortable and loved. Pet care fits beautifully into my retired routine because I now have the time and flexibility to truly dedicate myself to it. Each day, I enjoy starting my morning with a walk or play session with the pets in my care—it keeps me active and gives structure to my day. Throughout the week, I schedule pet visits or overnight stays around my personal commitments, allowing me to be reliable and fully present for both the pets and their owners. Caring for animals brings me joy, purpose, and a sense of companionship, which is a wonderful complement to my retired lifestyle. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or simply offering comfort and company, I enjoy making each pet feel safe and loved while their families are away. Caring for your pet in their own home helps them feel safe, secure, and relaxed while you're away. Here's what I provide to make sure they receive the best care possible: 🐾 Familiar Routine I follow your pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and medications. Keeping things consistent helps reduce stress and keeps your pet happy. 🐾 Individualized Attention Every pet is different, so I adjust my care to meet their unique needs—whether that’s extra playtime, quiet companionship, or special handling for seniors or shy pets. 🐾 Safety & Wellness I monitor your pet’s health and behavior during each visit, and I’ll contact you right away if I notice anything out of the ordinary. Their safety is always my top priority. 🐾 A Clean & Comfortable Space I make sure food and water bowls are clean and full, litter boxes are scooped, and accidents are cleaned up promptly. Your home stays tidy, and your pet stays comfortable. 🐾 Communication & Peace of Mind You’ll receive regular updates with photos and notes so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being well cared for—even when you’re away.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.

Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Saint Omer home-away-from-home, packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Saint Omer.

<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Saint Omer sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
