About: My last pet was a 16 year old miniature schnauzer who passed in December 2024. Since then I have been caring for dogs and cats of family & friends and traveling around the country using Trusted Housesitters. I have cared for German Shepherds and Bengal cats in New Orleans, an elderly dog in Charleston, and multiple rescue cats in Virgina Beach. In Denver, I covered a dog walking business for 3 weeks walking labs, collies, poodle mixes, dachshunds and house sitting up to 5 dogs at a time. Now when I'm back home in the Cincy area, I like to help others care for their dogs and cats. My schedule allows for me to change my routine as needed. I understand pets have routine and may need to be on a regular schedule. I can care for your pets in your home by following their routines, entertaining and playing with them, and giving them love and attention. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time.
About: I’m your go to for any animal care! I have experience with pet sitting during my childhood, I’ve always been the one to help neighbors and friends with pet sitting. I also have plenty of experience with farm animals and multiple pets due to my 10 years of 4-h. I work in the Village of Batavia from 7:30am to 4:30 pm, I’m generally free anytime after that and over the weekends. About: I have had pets for my whole life. Most of my friends called my house a "zoo" growing up because of the wide range of animals we had around the house, from puppies to snakes to pigs- we had it all. When caring for another animal, I treat it like it were my own. I always saw my pets as an extension of my own family and want to treat all animals the same way. I am currently home from college right now, so I am flexible. I have 3 pets of my own who I take care of, other than that I am free. It depends on the pet and their individual needs. I have a dog, but he is extremely active and loves being outdoors, so letting him out every hour or couple minutes is important for him. Whereas, another dog may not enjoy. being outside as much or have certain medical needs that prevents them from running. I love cuddling up on the couch with my pets (dog and two cats), and giving them affection. I also enjoy spending time with them by getting them active and playing their favorite games/ toys.
About: I’ve had my first dog( Bandit) for 10 years. Since I was 9, I would take care of him on the daily. I would be the one to bathe, feed, play with him, and walk him. About: I've owned animals all my life. I currently own one outdoor cat and 4 horses. I recently lost my dog of 13 years to cushings disease. I currently work part time at a horse boarding facility and previously worked for several years as a kennel techician. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
