“Ellie was very professional, polite, trustworthy, and has a great head on her shoulders. I knew as soon as we met that she was the right fit for my boys. She was really flexible with her availability too. I have 2 cats and one is very outgoing and one is shy at first. He felt comfortable coming out to eat and get pets when Ellie came. She has excellent communication skills, followed directions and asked questions when necessary. We would definitely use Ellie's services again. We had a great experience using Rover for the first time also. We have used multiple different friends, some who even have cats, in the past, but they did not meet our expectations or quantity standards. Ellie was the opposite of our previous experiences and really did a fantastic job. The cats really liked her. She gave them treats, pate with their probiotics, opened the sliding door to give the boys fresh air and a nice view of the grass, birds, and pond out back. It was a wonderful idea and much appreciated!!! The cats both love looking outside and bird watching. I would highly recommend you give Ellie a chance and let her take care of your pet(s). About: I’ve had pets for my whole life including multiple dog breeds, cats, lizards, and fish. I have pet-sat for friends and family for a few years and I am excited to start officially working as a pet caretaker! I am currently studying Zoology at UW Madison and I am looking forward to pursuing a career in animal care and rehabilitation. During the summer, I work part time minimally so I will have plenty of time to care for your animals mid-day, overnight, and everything in between! I do not offer animal care out of my residence but I will gladly drive the distance to care for your pets inside of your house! I will feed, leash, harness, and kennel animals as requested and bathe and administer medication if appropriate.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and birds throughout my life, and have worked with senior dogs and cats and animals with health issues (such as severe hip dysplasia, blindness, and arthritis). I have a particular love of senior animals and love to give them the extra help they need, but I am happy to work with pets of any age and temperament. I always take as much time as is needed to provide everything the pet owner prefers -- I will never just walk in, fill up the bowl and take the dog outside for 3 minutes and then leave. Your pet will get the care and attention they need, whether that looks like a long walk, lots of belly rubs, or just sitting in the same room together while I tell them how beautiful and perfect they are. I work full time, so I am available on weekends, in the evenings, or in the very early mornings. I cannot be with pets throughout a weekday, but can spend plenty of time with them after work or on the weekends. I will always be respectful of your home, and do everything I can to help your pet feel safe with me in their territory. It is important to remember that it can stress them out to meet a stranger while their person/people have gone off to parts unknown, and I keep that in mind when I go in to provide care. Your home will always be left as neat as possible when I walk out the door.

About: Since I was four I took care of my own dog who recently passed. I am looking to fulfill my growing need to love for and take care of animals. I volunteer at my local animal shelter where I watch cats and dogs of all ages and breeds. I have dogsat dogs as big as Newfoundlands and as small at Shih Tzus. I currently have two jobs and I am going to college in the fall but I am looking for this to be an end of summer job. I know how to use crates, gates, and doors needed for blocking the pets off or keeping them contained. I also know basic safety for dogs and cats as I had to be trained to volunteer at my animal shelter.

About: Hello! I am Cortlynne and I love pets of all shapes and sizes! I have a substantial amount of experience from my time at a pet daycare where I worked with many different dogs on a regular basis. In my free-time I volunteer at my favorite local dog and cat rescue where I love to exercise and photograph the pets. I am knowledgable about medication dispersal, dog/cat handling, and dog/cat body language. All my life I have had dogs who ranged from sizes as small as a king charles spaniel, to as large as a great dane! Beyond dogs, I have experience with farm animals, rabbits, cats, rodents, fish, and so much more. Animals are my passion, and I take their care very seriously. I have two fur-babies of my own who I have invested hours in training and exercising to ensure they are as healthy and happy as possible. My three-year-old golden retriever, Ryder, has traveled with me across the country on vacations and was sort of an unofficial campus mascot at my college. My other girl, Kida, is a rough collie puppy who helps me practice my dog grooming skills every day! In other words, my experience and knowledge makes me well-equipped to handle various pet-related situations, and I am compassionate towards ALL types of dogs! If permitted by you AND your pup, I have an exceptionally friendly golden retriever girl who can attend the walking sessions. I am very patient for those pullers or "I like to sniff everything" pups! While working at a doggy daycare and volunteering at an animal rescue, I have gathered a plethora of experience in handling animals with specific personality requirements.
