About: I worked at a kennel service in high school and have cared for friends' and neighbors' animals for numerous years. I am a professional groomer working in Waterloo. I have taken an animal behavior class and a pet first aid and CPR certifying class so I can keep your pets safe and happy! I am a dog groomer, though currently unemployed. I can be home with your pet as much as they need! I typically get up between 9 and 10 but will adjust to your pet as needed! I will nurture your dog or cat's natural instincts by allowing them to play, exercise, and explore in the safest ways possible. Specifications and rules are, of course, up to you but I believe in letting the animals be animals when possible! I have education in the body language of dogs and cats and am also pet CPR and first aid certified. I work my hardest to create a comfortable experience for you and your pet while you are away.

About: I have taken care of my own pets for all of my life. People have noticed the care and time I put into their lives and have trusted me to train and take care of of others peoples pets as well. I love walking, playing, feeding and anything you can think of with your pets. I am available pretty much every day all day except for Wednesday and Sunday morning. Feel free to contact me and work out a good time. Anything needed I can provide at clients home. Only thing I am unable to do is keep pets at my own home. Just give me details and I’ll be ready.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets my entire life. I have experience dog-sitting, cat-sitting, dog walking and even some grooming. My passionate love for animals doesn’t vary between small, large, young, or old - I love them all! I have plenty of weekend availability, but I am a student during the week, so my flexibility has been a little restricted. This summer I will have 8-10 hr days twice a week (including commute). About: !! This is the only job I have this Summer. If applicable, I am starting to accept payments outside of the app before booking is set to start (can discuss in more detail during meet and greets) !! Main Pet Care Experience: I spent a year volunteering at an animal hospital which involved taking care of the boarding animals. I would also frequently help out the veterinarians and other workers. Back when I was in high school, I took a vet/animal course for 9 months. I got my first dog back in 2019 when he was a year old and I have been training him ever since along with walking him at least 3 miles a day every time I’m home. With having a dog back home, I would help take care of him every day. Now that I am in college, I still want the opportunity to take care of other pets :) I am available everyday the calendar says I’m available as long as I can step out for food and occasional errands! I have experience with dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds. No matter the pet, I will of course take into account all the requests of the client. Back home I gave my pets attention and made sure to feed them at the same time every day. I also always take note the amount of food requested by the vet depending on weight and age of pet. Every booking, my time will be fully and utterly dedicated to those pets.

About: I am an avid pet lover. I’ve been around dogs all my life (minus a short time when I lived in an apartment and couldn’t have a dog, so we decided to adopt 2 cats!). I am a pretty active gal, and am able to take dogs for walks (and even run if they want to). I'm open to drop in visits, housesitting, walks, etc. I am unable to provide boarding at my house, as our Chloe is selective about her friends. We are working with her on being more tolerant of others. If boarding is your preference, I would be open to a Chloe meet-and-greet to make sure your dog and Chloe are comfortable with each other. I work locally around Columbia, so I am able to do some petsitting during the week. I have more availability on the weekends. If my schedule allows, I can drop in on lunch to check on your pets. Your rules are my rules. As long as the dog/cat/etc. is happy, I am happy. My dogs are allowed on furniture and have the run of the house. Of course, they are not chewers and (typically) do not destroy things.

About: Hi! My name is Katie and I am 32 years old.. I have dog sat many times over the years for family and family friends. I have been obsessed with animals since before I can remember. Dogs are the key to happiness in my opinion!! I will never turn down an opportunity to pet a dog or cat if able. I will be sure to keep your dog or cat well taken care of with lots of love, potty breaks as needed and outside or inside play if they are energetic! I currently am a stay at home mom for my 1 year old, so I have flexibility and will be able to provide what’s needed for your fur baby to the best of my ability. I would love to get a run down of your typical day or what your animal normally requires and expects. Keeping them in a routine they are comfortable with is important and I am happy to provide that as much as I am able.

About: I used to foster dogs. My yard is pretty big and I have a doggie door. My dogs do not mind visitors. I am off work during the summer and all major holidays. I am a teacher so I am off for the summers. When school is in session, I get off early and I am usually home before 4pm. I have a fenced in yard that can be accessed by a doggie door. I have 3 small dogs. I walk them and play with them on a regular basis. I also have 2 cats.

About: Neighbors friends and families have all relied on me to bath, walk, medicate their babies and I worked at a doggy daycare and boarding resort! I’m currently working between the vet clinic and grants farm live stock care! But my schedule has more room and I want to dedicate it to any and all animals I can! I have one dog well trained, free roam of the house, allowed on everything, potty trained and go out for his walk every day, and takes days off as he wants!

About: I have owned, been surrounded by, or been trusted to watch dogs for most of my life. Currently only own a cat so hoping to enjoy dogs on here until I get a dog! I currently work night shift and so I am available afternoons and weekends. I’m very flexible and would love to get to know your pet soon! I try to take advantage of walks and use them as an opportunity to burn off some energy so the pup gets a nice nap after. I will do what it takes to make sure the tail is wagging next time I walk in the door.

About: I am a stay at home, homeschooling mom with kids that love dogs as much (or more) as I do! We would love to love on your pup while you are away! I stay home to homeschool our two girls. Our schedules are flexible and would allow a good amount of attention and care for the pups in our care. Our yard is not fenced but we do have a lead, I can easily crate if needed and I have a sweet pup named Clive who loves furry friends- not to mention two daughters who love to play with dogs!

About: I have been training and taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes since 2008 when we adopted our angel, Willie. Since then, I have trained my two perfect puppies, who are my pride and joy! Neighbors and friends often ask for my help teaching their dogs new tricks or simply taking care of them while they enjoy their trip away from home. In addition, I volunteer at a Humane Society and am trained in properly walking dogs, carefully getting them in and out of kennels, and reading their body language. I know how precious pets are to a family, and I pride myself on providing the utmost care to every dog I interact with! I am currently home for winter break from college, so I am able to provide care every day of the week! I am taking an online class that allows me to work at my own pace, which will not interfere with my priority of assisting whenever necessary! It is important to me to approach each dog with the same respect and love as I would my own dogs. Dogs are simple, quirky creatures who need attention, love, and play time. I am also able to crate dogs if needed and clean up after them!
