My senior needed eye drops and she administered without problems. And from the happiness in the pictures, my younger male really enjoyed her visits. Teresa visited faithfully despite the horrible weather (flood and tornado warnings!) and her earned confidence allowed me to enjoy my trip. Thank you Teresa for taking care of my kitties! I would definitely book you again.”

About: I have been taking care of my dogs and my family members dogs from a young age. I have grown up around dogs and cats and animals have become a passion of mine. I currently have 4 dogs but no cats at the moment. I’m also currently taking an online dog training class in order to get my certificate in dog training. I’m currently employed part time and also a part time student online. And in between i’m hoping to get a few hours of pet care. I have been taking care of my family dogs for quite some time and have learned several things from it. I can walk dogs, bathe dogs, cut nails on calm dogs, feed and water dogs, give medications, clean cat litter boxes, and play with your pet.

“Grace provided a purrrfect cat sitting experience! This was our first time leaving our dear Stella behind for more than a day or two so we were initially very nervous about the whole thing. Now we couldn't be happier that we decided to go with Grace for our cat sitting needs! Her communication was impeccable throughout the entire process and I received wonderful updates complete with adorable photos after every visit. She was punctual, reliable, and treated our home with the utmost respect. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a top-notch cat sitter.”

“She was amazing! And sent great videos of my baby. Wil call again.”

About: Thank you for considering me to care for your dogs. I know it’s not an easy decision. I have always had a family dog. I have run an in home doggy day care, owned a pet treat bakery, earned my Vet Tech degree, worked in veterinary clinics, a specialty animal hospital, and as a pet nutrition consultant. I have cared for young and old, sick and healthy. I have seen everything at this point. One of my dogs had seizures so I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with a pet with medical conditions. I’m here to help. I hope to make this my full time job aside from mom. I have 2 daughters and 2 dogs. Check ins fit nicely into our busy family schedule. I’ll take time for each pet. Chatting with them, snuggles, pets, let me know what they need and I'll do my best to make sure they feel your love!

About: I'm the old school type of handler. I've learned that the human to animal bond is essential to each of us. I do things with your dogs that require full trust. I understand the responsibility involved in caring for them. I usually remain armed when I walk your pups. I also wear a vest containing emergency medical supplies, extra slip leads, dog treats, and large reflective letters "K-9" on the back for everyone approaching from behind to be aware. While walking, I'm keeping constant situational awareness. I'm confident in my ability to handle any situation that may present itself. I do work with aggressive dogs and other behavior issues. THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS, is my belief. Let's address the problem of pet obesity now. I've started offering a dog jog for morning and afternoon appointments. I use an electric trike to gradually get your dog fit as it gets faster and further as we go. Depending on the physical shape, it may need to work up to the trike. Either way, the fat will become muscle soon and the dog will be healthier with this exercise. I currently walk and train in St. James Plantation. I'd like to stay near home. I'm kinda picky about the people I work with. Hopefully you are too. 🐩 🐕 🐶 🦮 🐕🦺 🐈 I'm actually very flexible. The clients I have are very understanding and respectful of my time. Likewise, if something unexpected comes up, I understand. I want to be the one who comes to mind when that next emergency hits you, and you need someone who will drop everything for you and come save the day! I want to be closer than family for you. People have different ideas about the way they raise their pets. It's important to me that I know everything I can about your bond with your pets. Keeping the established routine is always a priority. I take notes and execute a plan based on what you want.

About: I grew up with family dogs and cats. You name it, we’ve had the breed. From chihuahuas, to huskies, to dobermans, to great danes. Therefore extremely comfortable with all sized fur babies. I have experience with all ages, from puppies as we have bred our great danes years ago, twice, to elderly dogs who are blind and/or deaf. etc. I actually have my own pup, she is a husky. Her name is cora and she is definitely a handful but i am blessed my hands are full with a smart, funny yet stubborn puppy haha. I also have cats, lazy fat house cats haha. I was looking for job opportunity that will allow me flexibility, work with fur babies (may or may not like them better then humans haha) and to be a mom to my 10 months old daughter as well, that is why i am pursuing Rover in hopes i can do it all at once. Looking forward to meeting your fur babies soon :) My pets daily care is naturally apart of my daily routine, she is family. Not just an animal. Animals cannot fend for themselves, it is important to me that my animals feel important, instead of a burden. My husky, Cora, is walked every two hours and fed two meals a day and has access to water 24/7. I am flexible to learn other animals schedules and eating times, as every animal is different.

“Excellent, reliable care provided. Pet was well taken care of, with good socialization expeirnece.”

“Great work, especially for a last minute request. We felt very comfortable knowing you were taking care of Gracie. We look forward to having you sit with Gracie and the new addition - Elley Mae”

About: Since I was a kid, I’ve always wanted to take care of animals. For the past 3.5 years, I have worked as a veterinary technician. I pride myself on understanding each pets’ unique personality and needs. I am confident in my ability to provide the best possible experience for you and your fur babies! I work full-time at an animal hospital. I am available before and after work, and all day on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. If it is close enough, I will be able to check in on your fur baby between 12pm-2pm. I am able to check in on your pet periodically or stay overnight if needed. Either way, I will make sure your pet(s) get all the attention and care they need!

“Kate took great care of my cats! Would definitely book again and recommend!”

About: I have been raised with all types of animals. Family and friends have trusted me to stop in for quick visits and also spend the night and care for babies for extended periods of time. I currently am taking online college classes and working part time so I am capable of working my schedule around when I would need to be available for you and your pets needs. My own pets have their own crates, and are friendly. I also have 3 cats that are used to being around dogs of all sizes.

About: I have always owned pets and I have been a veterinary assistant for the past 13 years as well as being a previous weekend manager of a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I love working with animals and would love to visit with your fur kids of all types, ages, and needs! (Ask about in home injections, nail trims, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression) Friday evening options by request when available. Just ask! I am working in a management position at an animal hospital during the day but I’m always available for early mornings and afternoon/evenings! Please know I always try to reply to messages as quickly as possible but sometimes pet emergencies arise during the work day and I may be unavailable for a couple of hours. I am happy to meet you and your fur baby in your home and go over all the specifics that are special to your loved one. Every pet is different and I am happy to cater to their needs no matter how detailed they may be!

“Hello, My name is Julia. I’ve known Jocelyn roughly 22 years, our mothers were childhood friends. Jocelyn has an extraordinary relationship with animals, she definitely is more fond of them than humans. She is so understanding of animals and their nature in ways i cannot begin to comprehend, her empathy for them are so deep. She is patient, loving, and has a welcoming spirit. Animals tend to cling to her from what i have witnessed growing up. I truly believe all fur babies would be more than safe and loved in her care.”
