I have run an in home doggy day care, owned a pet treat bakery, earned my Vet Tech degree, worked in veterinary clinics, a specialty animal hospital, and as a pet nutrition consultant. I have cared for young and old, sick and healthy. I have seen everything at this point. Dogs have filled my homes with love and joy and I look forward to sharing my large fenced back yard with a playful puppy or a well seasoned frisbee catcher I currently work three days a week, no more than 6 hours per day. I can visit twice daily, depending on location if a walk is needed. If I am pet sitting or boarding the pets will not be alone for more than 5 hours at a time. I miss our senior dog that we rescued as a puppy who passed a few months ago. In need of snuggles! I have pretty large grassy backyard for your dogs activities and a sunroom with full length windows for your pet to watch for birds, squirrels, hummingbirds, ect. I don’t mind having pets on my furniture or in my bed. I will provide the routine that your pet is used too and I am very familiar with senior dog care and puppy care too. We are in a gated community and I will be able to be home most of the time with the exception of a few small errands.

My children and grandchildten have St. Bernard, Doberman, Rottweiler, and a small white dog. Retired and have all the time in the world to give your fur baby. About: I have cared for animals my entire life. Growing up we were a multiple dog and cat family at all times. This is why I understand the care and attention pets need while their owners are away. I have a full time job, however I am very flexible on my work day hours so scheduling for drop-in visits or walks Monday-Thursday will be no problem. I am off Friday-Sunday, so my weekends are even more flexible for the care visits I can provide. For drop-in visits I will arrive at the scheduled time every time. My routine can vary based on client requests, however I typically prefer to let the pet out for a bathroom break first thing. After that, I will ensure food and water are refreshed as needed for the scheduled feeding times. I typically like to allow the pet to run around outside or take them on a walk to get them up and moving during my visit. Before the visit ends, I like to ensure they get another opportunity to use the bathroom before bringing them back inside.
About: I've been around animals my entire life and have been trusted by family, friends, and neighbors to care for their pets. I have 2 dogs of my own that are my world! I have a very flexible job so I can do drop in visits and walks pretty much any time or day. I know how important it is for our pets to have company and exercise and I do not rush through visits.
