About: NOTE: I can work at locations inside of Fort Campbell! My experience in pet care spans a lifetime and reflects a deep, ongoing passion for animal well-being. I began my journey working with a cat rescue, where I helped maintain the facility and socialized shy or neglected cats to prepare them for adoption. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of animals from obedience training both reactive and well mannered dogs, to serving six years in K9 Search and Rescue. I’ve also rehabilitated sick and injured cats through my work with a nonprofit, helped raise a German Shepherd puppy, groomed Great Pyrenees and other long coated cats and dogs, and developed meaningful bonds with dogs that others might find challenging. I have a naturally calm and patient approach, particularly with cats, and even the most standoffish felines tend to warm up to me in time. Pet care isn’t just part of my routine, it’s an essential part of my life, and I truly couldn’t imagine my days without it. While I’m currently exploring new employment opportunities, I work from home as a freelance artist, which gives me the flexibility to provide your pets with dedicated attention throughout the day. Just as we rely on a morning cup of coffee to start our day, I believe pets thrive on consistent care, playtime, and routine. I’m available seven days a week, with the exception of a standing meeting every Monday at 2 PM, which typically lasts no more than an hour. Outside of that, my schedule is fully open for pet care needs, whether that’s early morning feedings, midday walks, or evening companionship. I am a homeowner with a fully fenced backyard situated on a hill an ideal space for high energy dogs who enjoy extra exercise. For dogs that need more stimulation, I can safely take them outside the fenced area on a long lead for supervised play and hill runs. I also have access to both busy and also quiet dog parks with agility courses in them so i can tailor my care to your pets energy level. Our three story home includes a fully finished basement with a private living area and a spare room that has its own separate entrance, perfect for pets who may need space or a quieter environment. I share my home with a gentle, submissive dog who is friendly with other dogs and shows playful curiosity around cats. I also have two cats who are well socialized with both dogs and other cats. However, for everyone’s safety, all interactions between visiting pets and my own will be closely supervised and evaluated on an individual basis. Just as not all people naturally get along, even the friendliest pets may not be compatible and I believe in taking a cautious, respectful approach to every introduction.

About: I am a stay at home mom with five children. We love animals and currently don't have any pets. I grew up around and took care of lots of animals, including goats, ferrets, cats and dogs. I live in a home with a fenced yard which would be ideal for a pet to stay. My children love animals and would enjoy having a friend or two around for a little while. Let us take care of and love your pet for you! I am a stay at home mom which gives me the flexibility to take care of dogs. Taking them on walks in the morning and evening and playing throughout the day brings me and my family so much joy. I have a fenced yard to keep your pups safe and secure. I also have space in my home for kennels and whatever items needed for your pup to feel and be safe.

About: I have been around pets and animals for as long as I can remember. My grandmother was the type of woman who had four or more dogs at any given point, and my mother gave me and my brothers equal responsibilities in taking care of a pug when I was a child. I don’t think I have ever went a day in my life where there wasn’t a dog or cat (or even horses) around. As an adult, I have taken care of puppies, senior dogs, and cats. I adopted a dog in my early 20s and cared for him until his passing, and I have also been the go to caretaker if friends went out of town. I have experience training dogs, especially high energy dogs. I fostered German shepherds and huskies and always made games for them so they learned while having fun. I will say that most of my experience with pets are with bigger dogs, over 60-70 pounds, and I personally had a dog who weighed 120. I have a full time position and I work from home. I do not mind doing drop ins during the week day, but I will be mostly available on weekends. Week day drop ins depend on location to my home, as I work a regular 9 - 5 I will not be housing pets in my home as I have my own, and my cats are very skittish around new animals. However, for cats, it’s some time with a ribbon if its their favorite toy, some pets (if they like that!), and just generally checking on them. Cats can be finicky so knowing their personality I can adapt to that. For dogs, it’s a nice walk around the neighborhood, playing a game, and crating if necessary!

About: I cannot remember a time where I didn’t have an animal companion! I have personal experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors! I currently have two dogs of my own. Our sweet girl is a blue heeler mix, she is 5 years old and I rescued her from a shelter in Missouri as a puppy 🐶 our second dog is a very sassy and fun loving shih-tzu and he is a little over a year old! My dog soulmate and sweet angel Cooper, the shih-tzu, passed away at the age of 14 roughly 4 years ago. He is the one that showed me just how much joy having a fur companion can bring to your life! Truly, life is not complete without the love of a pet. They make each day a little brighter! I grew up around all sorts of dogs breeds from heelers to retrievers and labs, golden doodles and shih-tzus! I have experience watching my parents dog and sisters dog who are both very high energy golden doodles (they are just the sweetest)! I currently work from home which allows me a little more flexibility for drop in or walking services. I’m usually working from 7:00 AM-3:30/4:00 PM, so I have the ability to pop in before and after work and even over lunch time! My weekends are relatively free which allows me more opportunities to spend quality time with your fur babies! Safety and trust are my number one priority! Being a pet owner myself I know how important communication and providing a safe loving space for your pets is! My dogs are like my children and I take pride ensuring that pet owners feel like their fur babies are treated as if they were my own!
