I could tell by the second day that Ellie recognized Colleen, and not only that was excited to see her again! Colleen really took care of my puppy, was patient while she sniffed everything and anything on their walk, made sure she pottied and had a drink before putting her back in her kennel for the rest of my shift. About: I am an active triathlete, so your pet will have plenty of exercise and entertainment! My own dog is a pitbull mix, so I have experience with aggressive breeds and large breeds. My family dog I take care of when my parents travel is a senior, so I have experience with senior care. I work a hybrid schedule, and days I am home are very flexible as well as weekends. For a typical home sitting job I will do a morning walk and breakfast, midday walk during my lunch, and evening meal and walk. If your dog cannot sleep alone, I can bring them to my home to sleep in a large crate with a clean bed. I am very active, so whether you have a fenced in yard or a neighborhood or would allow me to drive your dog to a nearby trail, they'll have engagement while you are away. I am also proficient in belly rubs, so your dog will have cuddles and comfort. If your dog comes to my home, I have a fenced in yard they can run in while my dog enjoys his sunbathing. In my home dogs are crated while I am away for their safety.

I grew up taking care of farm animals and mostly took care of chickens and stray cats in my area, so I’m very comfortable with different types of animals and personalities. I’ve also have pets of my own, including my cat Onion, who I’ve raised since birth, and a husky named Gunner that I adopted from a shelter. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, neighbors, and family with their pets, whether that’s walking, feeding, or just spending time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. I am currently a student, Army ROTC cadet, and athlete at North Carolina Central University. I am usually up really early in the morning for physical training at around 5-7am. I would love to start your animals day off with a morning walk or play session! I have a few classes M-TH and can be available depending on the time. However, I’m free all day on Fridays plus weekends. Keeping your pet safe and comfortable are my top priorities. I will not be caring for pets in my home because I am in a dorm for school, but in a clients home I always follow care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special needs.
