“Ratchet had a wonderful time with Kasey. She really knows her stuff and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter for their fur babies. She provides updates which is really great for first timers. She also has excellent communication unlike other sitters on this app who just stops replying. She also provides a summary at the end of the stay which is very useful. She's the best in the area. Will definitely use her services again in the future.”

“LaNiyah and family were the perfect sitters for my boy! He certainly agreed as every morning he barked enthusiastically upon arriving! LaNiyah was also very understanding to my ever changing schedule. Definitely will use again and feel grateful for her help!”

About: My husband and I recently relocated to Minot, ND from Alaska. Previously, we operated under The Dog House, AK—a foster partner of The August Fund Foundation for retired sled dogs. We have many years of experience beyond the 8 years fostering and rescuing in Alaska, as we both have had family dogs and dogs of our own; we have 5 of our own right now actually! We have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs and can accommodate special requests/diets if needed. We treat every animal as if they’re our own, as we would expect the same. We know how difficult it is to trust someone new. We look forward to meeting you! I've recently transitioned into a full-time at home schedule, and am home to give all of the attention and potty breaks to your pet! We walk just about every evening, and my husband is a runner/hiker/adventurer so can provide higher intensity exercise for the more active pups. We have a fenced in yard and a downstairs that’s pretty dedicated to all things dogs (beds, crates if required, feeding stations, toys, etc.), but let’s be real the entire house is their domain! All of our animals are supervised at all times, even during potty breaks, to make sure they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. We also feed everyone separately—even our own pack. We believe in personal space and respecting boundaries, and this also keeps everyone from over eating or having their food eaten—and of course avoids any potential arguments over food.

“Ellen and Weston took care of our dogs for the day while we went out of town for a hike. She sent us a photo of them and gave us an update midway through the day to let us know how they were doing. The dogs were exhausted when we picked them up. We'll definitely reach out to Ellen again for our future doggie daycare needs. ?”

About: I have over 15 years of experience sitting for dogs. In the past, I have pet-sat for families for extended periods of time, up to three consecutive months during the summer. I have the ability to administer medications and care for dogs with special needs. I am a stay-at-home mom to my 20 month old son, so I am able to work around most pet’s schedules. All sizes and breeds of dogs are welcomed and I have experience with non-canine species as well! I have experience with cats, birds, fish, and some reptiles. In addition, I have experience with caring for farm animals. Before moving to North Dakota from Michigan, we had cattle, goats, and chickens on our hobby farm. So, if you need assistance with your farm, I’m your girl! I look forward to giving you peace of mind while you are away from your fur babies! With being a stay-at-home-mom, I have a pretty flexible schedule for pet care. I’m home most days with my 20 month old, so last-minutes bookings are generally not an issue. I don’t have a fence, but I do walk our dog a few times a day. We are in a very small, quiet town that’s great for dog-walking.

“Chelsea was amazing with our two puppies under a year old! We received updates letting us know how well they did with the other dogs there and knew we could trust her! Will definitely be using Chelsea again :)”

About: I’ve taken care of pets for 8+ years. I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Bachelors degree in Animal Science. I also work as a Veterinary Technician so I have experience with all sorts of animals, even those with specific medical needs. I am able to look after animals all week long. I am a stay at home mom and we live in a house with a fenced in backyard so dogs are able to roam free and explore as long as they want! I currently live in a house in Burlington. We have a very large yard at our house and have a dog pool. Perfect for a doggy summer vacay while the owners are on their own vacay.

“Becky is great! I left Lily with her 3 consecutive days for daycare. She had so much fun with Becky’s dogs out in the country (near town-east access!). Very knowledgeable and caring. Great experience. Will use her again!!”
