So until the program opens back up I’m pretty free but even after I start back working I work from home so it won’t really affect my schedule. I don’t have any other pets in the home nor kids so that won’t be a problem. I also already frequently take walks around my complex which has a fenced in dog park area. Even without pets of my own, I prioritize safety, trust, and the well-being of animals in my care. In a setting like my complex with a dog park and large yards, I ensure pets are always supervised in open areas, preventing accidents or escapes, while maintaining secure fencing and a pet-proofed indoor space. Building trust is essential, so I follow each pet's routine and respect their boundaries, using positive reinforcement to create a calm and reassuring environment. Whether indoors or in the yard, I focus on providing enrichment, exercise, and a comfortable, stress-free space for pets to feel safe, happy, and well-cared for.

Attending college online allows me take care of my dog’s needs and more. I get to spend most of the day with my dog since I work part time in the mornings 3 days out of the week. I’m mostly a homebody who enjoys making memories with my chocolate lab. I live in a house with a finished basement, so there’s plenty of safe space for dogs to playfully run around. We have a partially fenced backyard and open front yard with plenty of scents to uncover. The basement has a back door for quick access for emergency accidents and separate rooms if any dogs want some alone time.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets ever since my first dog at age 11. Since then I’ve been walking, feeding, bathing and caring for friends and neighbors pets often. I love animals and the outdoors so it’s become a dream job for me. I work on the weekends so throughout the week I can give your pets my full undivided attention. Monday through Thursdays I usually spend studying alone so it would be nice to have furry company! I have a fenced in backyard that’s perfect for any dog. Although I don’t have any pets myself all my neighbors have furry babies and I have the perfect neighborhood for walks. I spend most time outdoors so I don’t mind going out. I enjoy taking the dogs on walks or to the park. Pets who like the indoors will have their own bed at my house. I will rarely dog sit at another person’s house but there can be a few exceptions.

About: I grew up with dogs and can’t imagine living in a household without them! I was always the girl in the neighborhood that got called to get an assortment of animals out of peoples’ yards because I’ve always been good with all kind of animals. Currently I’m a student at Mercer and often dog sit my roommate’s dogs and really enjoy it so I figured I’d expand from there! I’m currently a student at Mercer with classes mostly in the morning, and I am also a barista at Red Owl Coffee Company. As I cut back on my summer hours with the school year starting I’ll need something to supplement that time. At home my roommates have a pit bull and a chihuahua, I can lift and crate both easily, so size of the dog will not be an issue for me. I also used to work in nursing homes and although people are different than dogs it taught me patience and how to adapt to every individual under my care.

About: Hey my name is Jess, I used to be a kennel tech where taking care of animals is my number one priority. I hope to one day become a dog trainer and open my own dog training business as I have fell in love with training my own pup, Chief. I am really good with any breed of dog or cat and I will make sure they are loved and cared for to my upmost ability. Pet care is my number one priority so whenever I’m needed I’ll do my very best to be there. I’m currently doing this as my sole job so I’m mainly always free. I always make sure your dog gets plenty of potty breaks and exercise along with a lot of attention to make sure your dog stays happy. I then will make sure that if the animal, dog or cat gets the meds it needs if taking any, and gets fed to your standards. I love training so if you ever needed any help I would be up for the task. As for cats I have no problems with messes in general so a litter box is no big deal and I will make sure your cat gets lots of love. In general I love all animals and I will make sure you and the animal is satisfied and happy.

About: I’ve always been a dog and cat lover! I have a three-year-old mini golden doodle of my own. Ironically, I love big dogs too! Once, I dog-sat a huge golden doodle who was also an elder dog. I always made sure to treat him with the best care I could. I can’t wait to meet more pups and cats! I’m currently working full time morning shifts. I am trying to save up money to live more comfortably. I am mostly available in the evening time and the days I’m off I can do any time!
