After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. Overall, if and when I may need another house & pet sitter, I wouldn't hesitate to reach back out to MacKenzie and I won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 7 years old and professionally since I was 18 years old. I love ALL animals. I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. I know how to administer shots and give medications orally to Cats, Dogs, and Ferrets. I believe that pets aren't pets - they are family. I live in a house with my husband, 4 month old baby, and 2 kitties. I work a 9-5 full time job but can take breaks to help with walks, potty breaks, and feedings. About: I’ve had experience with rescue animals in my home since my childhood. I began working as a pet sitter and dog walker (babysitter as well!) at 14, which has always been my favorite job! I was able to get a job as a kennel assistant in a veterinary clinic at 16 and worked my way up to a veterinary assistant position. I have dealt with administering medication and other veterinary procedures, and dealing with more special care required animals. I’m a college student taking online and in person courses through the local community college, so I have a pretty open schedule. Working a traditional job in college can be quite stressful, so I’m giving this a try! I have been working in other people’s homes for several years babysitting and pet sitting. I’m happy to clean dishes, take out trash, carry in mail and packages, and any other simple tasks. I always try my best to clean after myself and the fur babies each visit!

About: I've taken care of my family dogs and cats, especially my sister's and brother's recently. I lived with my sister for 3 years with her dog and took him to vet visits and to get his haircut I'm working part time as a tour guide so I have a pretty open availability. I'm excited to meet and play with plenty of pets and make sure that they are safe and happy Whenever I need to watch my brother's or sister's dogs I make sure to take them on walks, with leashes ,and poop bags as needed. I'll make sure they take their meds as needed and if needed I can even take them to the vet.
