“Christopher is great: friendly, a very good communicator, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys pets. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a caring sitter for your furry family members! 😀”

“My two senior dogs got excellent care with Monika. I am not sure they wanted to come home! I am using her again next week. Her yard is fenced and she sends pictures and reports which I greatly appreciate. She is the best!!”
“Arya loved staying with Britny and Seth. I received regular pictures and updates throughout the stay. I will definitely be bringing Arya back to stay in the future!”

“When we are away, we are so comfortable leaving our fur babies with Brook and Cameron. They will always be my first choice. Thank you both for taking such good care of Maverick and Mia! It's reassuring knowing they are well taken care of.”

“Stella had a great time with Abbye & her husband. Stella stayed one night and was very excited when we pulled up for her next stay. Abbye worked around any issues Stella & I had and was very friendly. Thanks for letting Stella stay with your family for a few days!”

“Coming from a kennel experience, it took them being booked up during a last minute trip for me to give Rover a try. With that being said, I don’t think I’m ever going back to a standard kennel! Kari and Clint were absolutely amazing! We got pictures of Walker having fun every night and never once felt nervous that our pup was being neglected or mistreated. Highly recommended, will definitely be back!”

“Couldn’t ask for a better sitter! I don’t have to worry about a thing when my dog stays. They are trustworthy, kind, polite, keeps me consistently updated. Top notch I know Mollie will miss staying when we move away in the future.”

About: Over the past two years, I’ve been responsible for caring for a Golden Retriever from puppy to adulthood. I’m familiar with maintaining routines, handling energy levels, and making sure dogs feel safe and well cared for. I am a full-time work from home employee and I’m able to care for dogs while I work. I enjoy getting out to walk and play during the the work day. I have a smaller home, approx 900 square feet. It’s a loving home with two teen girls who love to care for dogs. While my yard is not fenced, we leash walk dogs when they need potty time.
“Returning client here. You won’s find a better sitter for your pet! Tosha and her family are such good people and really good with dogs! Highly recommend!”

“These guys are wonderful! My pups had a hurt foot before drop off and they cared for him like he was their own. Loki was well rested and very much himself after a week of hanging out. Happy pups= happy owner. Highly recommend! Thanks again!”
“Shelby was amazing with our girl!! VERY communicative, and treated Bea like she was one of their own. We’re looking forward to booking with Shelby again here very soon; couldn’t recommend more!!”

About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a dog and a pet tortoise. I have also pet sat for friends dogs and mini pigs. I'm ready to treat your family like my family I work full time second shift at the local sheriff department as a dispatcher. My dog is not crated during this time. I do come home on my hour lunch break and let her out and play with her. I have a tie out for potty breaks and a large house to run around. Also visits to the dog park or tractor supply for a bath and some treats.
“Keith was outstanding. I highly recommend him. He was able to watch Hank with kinda short notice. He was very prepared and made us feel at ease with leaving Hank with him. He gave us updates each of the first two days, complete with pictures. He then updated us every other day, which was perfect. Hank was in great shape when we picked him up and obviously had a great time with Keith. I would definitely board Hank with him again!”

“Everything went really well, Dita was really flexible and always sent us many updates and pictures which we really appreciated. Snickers seems to have enjoyed herself as well :)”

“I would recommend Haylie and her family! They took care of our new addition to our family while we were away a few days. They were very understanding of her anxiety of being away from her family for the first time since we got her. They took good care of her. She was clean and everything I dropped off for her was also well cared for. She sent multiple videos and photos throughout the stay. I would rebook with Haylie in the future.”

“Bobbie, her mom and grand daughter were truly amazing!!! Pepper really enjoyed himself with their dog Joey. As an added bonus Bobbie gave Pepper a bath. I will surly use them again the next tie I travel to Indy!!!”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
