“Megan and her family were great! She has an excellent house for dog sitting with a great fenced backyard for roaming and exercise. She provided regular photos and videos which was very nice because it was hard to be away from our pup over the holidays. Her kids played with our dog and were very affectionate towards her and she seemed to miss all the attention they provided. Megan's own dog Theodore provided the "adult dog" calmness our hyper pup needed. “Nichole and family did a wonderful job of caring for Sophie and Scottie during our vacation. It was like they were having their own personal vacation. Nichole sent pictures and kept me up to date on how things were going. Sophie is on medications, and one of the medications was giving her some problems. Nichole let me know right away what was happening with Sophie. I let her know what to do, and the next day, Nichole told me that Sophie was doing much better! “Started with a welcoming meat and greet with Michelle and her family. My dogs were surprisingly shy. Their family has rescue experience and are patient and loving and work great with the dogs. During our time away we got photos and updates which were great. One of my dogs had a hurt foot prior to me dropping her off. I had no idea what happened. Michelle and family pampered her and treated her foot with a creme and bandage. Very appreciative for the extra attention. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 9. My neighbors, friends and family have given me the chance to take care of their furry friend by feeding, walking playing with and bathing their dogs. I live with my husband on base and currently do not have a job, but i do own my own small jewelry business! I have always LOVED taking care of animals. I’ve been helping at a farm sanctuary along with pet humane societies, making sure all needs are met. I will walk your dog and give them water and food, and make sure if he needs to go out that I’ll take them before an accident:)

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Rush home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Rush.

You and your Rush sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
