He’s the perfect pal for your pet if they were to visit. I live right next to a rail trail for beautiful walks and hikes. I am currently not working so I am available all day every day. This includes holidays and weekends. I can also provide care at any time of the day. I have an older Aussie doodle. He’s 13 years old and is almost blind. He’s extremely friendly and loving. About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. Primarily I like to do drop-in visit for walks and short training sessions. Once we build a rapport, I’d like to do hikes and overnight adventures.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats! Very familiar with both big and small breeds. We have a 6 year old yellow lab, Bodhi, who is extremely friendly and obedient. We could easily give lots of love and attention to some more animals!! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to two kids. We’re home a lot, always out in our backyard playing. My weekly routine revolves around them and their school schedules, but for the most part I am at home. I have a large fenced in backyard in a safe neighborhood. We have motion sensor lights and camera in both the front and backyard. We also have baby gates up all around the house with garbages and cabinets all baby proofed as well! Super safe environment, nothing unsafe they can get into. We can crate or just separate and give them their own space with baby gates. We also have a nice cool finished basement that’s set up like a spare bedroom with king size bed and tv if that’s more their style :)

About: I'm a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), and I have over 15 years of working with dogs in veterinary clinics, humane societies, boarding kennels, grooming parlors, and most recently, managing a doggy daycare and teaching classes for a dog training institution. I own 13 acres of woods and fields that allows for dogs to run and play, though boarders use long lines for safety. Each dog who comes into my home will retain basic manners, including waiting at doors, loose leash walking skills, and come when called commands. I make sure pets have comfortable spaces to rest, opportunities for exercise and enrichment, and slow introductions if other pets are present.
