They can look intimidating and people aren’t always comfortable but Ashley was unfazed. I appreciated her warmth, her communication and her love for my animals. We will definitely be using her whenever we come back “home”.”

I have experience with many breeds, temperaments and behavioral challenges, along with numerous references from clients and families who have trusted me with the care and training of their dogs. Drop-in visits are available for potty breaks, feeding, medication, playtime and check-ins for dogs of all ages. Because I’m also a professional dog trainer, I can incorporate basic obedience training, manners and mental stimulation into our time together. As an experienced trainer, I’m comfortable reading canine body language and handling different temperaments. I respect your home, your dog’s boundaries and the training or structure you already have in place while providing safe, attentive care.

“This was our first time boarding our 5yo coonhound since she was 1yo. We had some nerves about how she would do away from us, but Angie was amazing! She cared for Grace as if she were part of her family and made sure she was comfortable with the other dogs. She kept us up to date on her status and even sent some sweet and hilarious pictures and videos. We would absolutely book time for Grace with Angie again in the future.”

About: Hi! I’m Krystal, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 13 years. I provide dependable dog walks, drop-in visits, and in-home pet care for dogs, cats, seniors, and multi-pet households. Whether your dog needs a midday walk while you’re at work, your puppy needs a potty break and some playtime, or your pets simply do better with a consistent routine, I’m happy to help. Visits can include walks, potty breaks, meals, fresh water, medication, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention based on your pet’s normal routine. I also have experience caring for senior pets and pets requiring medication or a little extra patience and support. After caring for my own senior dogs, I understand how reassuring it is to have someone dependable who will take the time to get to know your pet and their individual needs. I’m available for both occasional and recurring weekday walks and drop-ins and love building long-term relationships with pets and their families. My goal is for you to feel confident that your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Pet care is my full-time focus, and I structure my days around the pets in my care. My daytime schedule typically includes walks, drop-in visits, errands, appointments, and other everyday commitments. For boarding and house sitting, I spend plenty of time with your pet throughout the day while balancing my scheduled visits and commitments. Because of this, pets should be comfortable spending some time independently while I’m out. I also offer complimentary meet & greets so we can connect, review your pet’s routine, and make sure we’re a great fit before their stay! Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and settled while you’re away. For boarding, I provide a comfortable home environment and follow your dog’s feeding, potty, walking, and sleeping routines as closely as possible. Favorite toys, treats, and comfort items are always welcome! In your home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walks, litter care, medications, playtime, and household preferences. I’m also happy to reinforce any training or routines you’re currently working on.
“Ashley was great about sending pictures. Our dog seemed happy, relaxed, playful. It was great that there was another dog to play with and a big yard to run in. The only thing I would have preferred would to have been to see the two dogs meet.”

“Zemo loves his stays with Edgar & friends! He always comes back tired from all the play time. Edgar is fast to respond, and friendly at pickup and drop-off. Anything I bring with Zemo is always neatly packed back into the bag it was brought in. Zemo himself seems well-cared for and happy at pickup, and looks calm and happy in any photos sent during the stay.”

About: Growing up, my family has never not had a dog. I come from a family of dog lovers! I have experience with Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I’ve always had a passion for animals and volunteer my time as a board member of Montana Pittie Project. My dog is my child and I will treat yours like it’s my baby as well! I also have experience taking care of special needs dogs, my dog that passed the rainbow bridge in August of 2022 was special needs himself. I have fostered multiple dogs while working in rescue and have experience with many different dog personalities and needs. I love sending photo updates to keep your mind at ease while you’re away. Feel free to ask me any questions! I work full time as a self employed hairstylist. With a flexible schedule I am able to take a break every day and hang out with my dog during the week. In the evenings I take Stella to a park nearby my house or we go on a walk around the neighborhood. I do have a fenced in yard. My current pup is kennel trained and it’s her safe space, if I work for a longer period than usual I have my own pet nanny or family checks in on my dog if I will be gone for too long. She is never along for more than 4-5 hours at a time. She eats in the morning and in the evening, I do not free feed. Stella has way more toys than any dog could need, and likes watching tv so I leave a nature show on for her when I leave the house. She’s a good girl.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
