I am currently a licensed veterinary technician and waiting to start veterinary school. I am comfortable with all shapes and sizes of dogs/cats. I have experience with both senior dogs/cats as well as puppies and kittens. Administering medication and participating in daily training is also not a problem. I’m currently unemployed while preparing for veterinary school so I have plenty of time to watch your furry family member. I am able to do weekends, early mornings and even late nights. I am unable to bring pets into my home since I have three cats and one dog. I will follow your daily schedule and routine in order to keep your furry family member happy and comfortable. About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. If you think I’d be a good fit for your fur baby or have any questions or concerns, I’m here to answer them all and hope you will consider me! I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. About: We have owned dogs for six years, and currently have two miniature dachshund’s that rule our lives. Aside from taking care of him - I (Emily) have looked after dogs in a professional capacity including dog walking, and sitting for my clients while they've been away. We are both home full time and both our schedules are very flexible so we're always available for play and interaction with your pup. Our days always include a walk, or two as well. Since beginning dog daycare/boarding we've hosted a variety of breeds including Bulldog's - both French and British, Labrador's, Golden Retriever's, Rottweiler's, and German Shepard's just to name a few! We're happy to host both the smallest, and biggest of breeds. We are both home full time and our schedules are flexible so we’re able to provide plenty of pats and interaction with your pup while they’re here. Please note that because we are required to be home, and available to attend to your pup our daycare rate is for 8hrs, it is then $10.00 each additional hour (capped at 12hrs) - above 12hrs is considered boarding. We can include your pup in our daily walks around the neighborhood if desired and these can be short or long depending on your pups needs. We are able to separate dogs within the yard/house if need be but also for meal times.

Meet and greets can only be done via FaceTime/zoom (unless I’m already there for a stay) and due to travels requirements, I don’t accept less than a 3 days stay. I am happy to follow any instructions you lay out, administer medication, daily walks, bath times, and just spend time with them. Bonus: I leave behind sweet treats for all.

I have many years experience with animals, three grown kids & I am an avid animal rescue supporter including having my own rescue animal. I am not able to provide in home care due to my Rescue dog being touchy with other animals, especially dogs but am available anytime for walks/drop ins, cat care, etc....
