About: I have handled small animals and reptiles for 9 years, cats and dogs for 7, and horses and livestock for 6! I have a variety of experience with many different breeds with many different temperaments. There isn’t much I can’t handle! I currently only work part time at a local rescue/shelter so I have some time on my hands! I have my own car that I don’t mind getting some fur and dirt in, so if your pups are a fan of hikes or just want to go on an adventure that’s no problem for me! I take animal care and welfare very seriously, my babies get water and food dishes scrubbed daily, proper diet tailored to their needs, whatever exercise they require, and all the attention they could ever ask for! I will treat your pets as if they were my own, keeping a clean, happy, healthy environment for them!

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life and am very comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities. From energetic puppies who need structure and play to senior pets who need patience, gentleness, and a slower pace, I understand how to adjust my care to each animal’s needs. I also have experience caring for cats and respects their routines, boundaries, and unique personalities. I am attentive to details like feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I do work full time as a warehouse supervisor. My shift is Monday - Friday working 10:30am-7:00pm at the latest. But I will be sure to keep your pet's routine and comfort my top priority. I am completely comfortable staying at the home so I can be there around the clock. I treat every pet like a part of my family like they are my own. I will be sure to follow your instructions carefully, you'll receive regular updates and pictures to see how your fur baby is doing.

“This was a last minute booking that Tara was quick to respond to and set up a meet/greet for. I was very nervous to leave the dogs as we just recently rescued one with severe trauma/fear and another one healing from a recent surgery and still getting used to having his new brother in the house. I knew they needed someone very attentive and knowledgeable—Tara was just that and beyond! We had a slight issue that we did not anticipate with our rescue doggie and Tara was quick to inform us and navigate the issue to ensure both our dogs were happy and healthy in her care!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes. Also, have been trusted by many family members & friends to take care of their dogs. This includes taking care of an elderly dog who takes multiple medications & has some trouble getting around, & on the other end of the spectrum a very active & young husky, plus many more! I am a full time athletic trainer at a college, but get a month off in the summer. The other month I work during the summer I only work 4 hour shifts so will have plenty of time to attend to pups! Moving forward after summer I can pick up random week nights & weekends here & there! I am an active person so would love to walk with a dog & take it out to run around & play! On the flip side, I also love cuddles & will give your pups all the attention they would need!

I have had sitters (not from Rover) who left the house in a shambles: unmade bed, stuff on the kitchen counters, etc, so that when you got home you had to tidy up before you could unpack. About: Ive had dogs all 21 years of my life. Currently I have 5 dogs all medium sized dogs which is a lot of cleaning and attention so I understand needing the help. I love all animals and would be willing to work with pets that I have not worked with yet. I’m big on communication just want everyone to be comfortable my schedule is pretty lenient at the moment. I work for a company called premium/Acosta, which is a vendor for Walmarts. I also do Rover and Instacart. I do like to travel occasionally but I’m always big on communicating ahead of time at least two weeks in advance when I do plan something. I would always call or text if there was ever a concern or question and wouldnt do something that wasnt talked about before. I grew up with dogs and around animals all my life. I love all animals and am willing to learn and work with pets I have and haven’t worked with. I want both parties to be as comfortable as possible. I love communication, I always appreciate tips and tricks from the owners especially letting me know any triggers for the pet or boundaries.
