About: I have taken care of my own pets, neighbors pets and my grand cat and dogs. My grand dogs are very energetic Huskies! I love animals. I love walking dogs or taking them to the doggie park. I enjoy throwing balls, sticks and whatever else they bring to me and playing tug a war with dogs and of course giving and getting doggie love. I enjoy cat cuddles, playing chase the laser with cats or just sitting with a cat in my lap and listening to it purr. I am retired. I am available anytime. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large fenced in backyard. Plenty of large trees to provide shade. I have a large 6 Ft high-fenced in backyard. It is a privacy fence. Lots of big trees for shade and plenty of room to run.

“Katie was fantastic! She spent a lot of time with all 4 cats and even got our shy boy out of hiding - a first. I felt confident that they were getting as much love and care as possible while we were away. I highly recommend Katie.”

“This was my first time using Rover and Jessica was awesome! She responded within minutes and sent me updates with pictures. I've always used the local vet for dog boarding but will definitely be using Jessica again in the future. I highly recommend her!”

About: I grew up taking care of all kinds of animals including chickens, goats, cows, pigs, and of course cats and dogs. I’ve independently cared for animals since I can remember! I am a student at Virginia Tech with a pretty flexible schedule. I have time in between my classes to be able to let your animals outside or just spend time with them! Because I live in an apartment, I unfortunately cannot house animals with me in my home. However, I am happy to take them on walks and hang out with them at their home.

“When we are away we never worry when Glen is there. Our cats are picky but they have taken to Glen right away. We will be using again. Thank you !!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 12 years old. I grew up in a neighborhood so it wasn’t hard to find people who needed pet care. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me for overnight, boarding, walking and feeding. I am not currently working full time so I have plenty of free time to take care of your pets. It will switch to evenings and weekends once I start work again. Neighbors have always trusted me to be in their homes and with their pets. I have watched them for weeks at a time so this required being unsupervised with access to the property

About: I've had pets all my life cats, dogs, fish, hamsters, Bunnies, and taken car of horses. I love animals and am not afraid of their messes. During the summer I have plenty of time to take care of pets though during the school year certain times of day I won't be available due to classes. I've learned to come at pets with the caution they need. I'm very friendly and always want to be sweet to pets but I can be tough if the situation calls for it to not let animals walk all over me. I love animals and like taking the time for their needs.

About: My name is Misty and I would love to help you care for your pets. I live in Maysville and will travel to surrounding areas. I grew up in a family that bred and trained Golden Retrievers and Chocolate Labrador Retrievers to duck hunt. I have also leash-broken hounds, German Shepherds, and Siberian Huskies. The leashes I use are gentle-leaders. I do not use any other form of leashes as I use the pack leader training method. I reward pets with positive reinforcement and do not punish animals. I’m a disabled veteran so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. I love spending time with dogs and cats. I do crate training at my home and I have a 1 acre yard with a creek. Your fur babies will be happy and protected with me.

About: I am currently in the process of moving to West Virginia. As long as this notice is up, I am accepting dog walking clients only! I have a lifelong experience of caring for dogs, cats, and chickens. As an adult, I have found a passion for providing my animals with enrichment, fulfilling their psychological needs as well as the physical. I have completed a course on dog body language, and took care of a special needs chicken for 4 years. I enjoy taking care of animals so much that I want all my days off to be filled with cats and dogs! I am employed full time, but my free time goes to four legged beings first. I can't wait to meet your furry friends! I believe in advocating for your cat or dog's autonomy. I am familiar with both dog and cat body language cues, and I respect those cues. In the context of house sitting for your pet, this means that if your pet doesn't want to be picked up, petted, or held, I will respect that. If I am out on a walk with your dog and a stranger wants to pet them, I am comfortable saying No. It's about your pets comfort and respecting their boundaries.

“Awesome job and very flexible as my needs kept changing, highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of cats for a year but I also had a cat growing up. When I did have 2 cats they were my world. I enjoyed every minute when I had them. I’m very passionate about caring for cats. I was working full time at the hospital but I’m free every day Monday-Friday until I get the job that I want but after I get that job I’m still available I don’t have a fenced back yard but my neighbor is a pet friendly environment. I’m near a park that is safe for animals as well.

“VIctoria was amazing! Our dogs are rescues and came from abusive situations, so they dont normally take well to strangers and they warmed up to her, which is huge in our book! She is so patient and has a great love for animals. Communicates well and goes above and beyond! I will gladly use her services again and highly recommend!”

About: I have owned my own personal animals for the past 6 years, I have 3 dogs (all beautiful muts) and 8 cats. Aside from having my own furry kids, I've also worked in animal rescue for a little over 4 years. This job field has given me so much experience working with every sort of dog breed, and any cat temperament. I currently work a full time job Monday-Thursday but I would love to be more involved in the animal field again. With me having fridays off I feel this is a great opportunity to spend time helping others and hanging out with animals! Since I do have my own animals, I will not be able to provide in home care. However, I will be more than happy to set something up with you to do care for your pets in their own home!

About: I have been around animals my whole life. I have a degree in psychology with a focus in animal behavior, which helps me to understand and be patient with all types of animals I'm currently working part time, which gives me plenty of time to play with and take care of your animals. I'm available for sitting and boarding throughout the week and will be available on weekends if need be. I'm willing to travel to your home and care for your animals and I'm willing to bring your animals to my home if you prefer. I have a big yard for them to play in. “I have a high maintenance cattle dog that is very high energy and reactive, which makes me nervous when leaving him with people. Sarah is one of the few people I trust to remain vigilant and aware of possible threats at all times.
