Because I’ve mostly cared for dogs in a home setting, I know how to keep them feeling comfortable, calm, and loved when their owners are away. About: I worked at a vet clinic for over a year which allowed me to learn dogs behavior well. I have lived with and taken care of dogs my whole life. I also walk dogs for a humane society. I am currently going to school for animal care. I am currently working a part time job and walking dogs for a Humane society. I walk the dogs at the humane society Tuesday-Thursday 6:30-9:30am. My part time job depends on when I get hours when I do it’s normally between 10-4. When visiting a clients home I will always do exactly what the clients requests or what I am comfortable with doing. I always focus on good behavior when taking care of dogs as well.

About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and have experience in pet sitting and the veterinary field for the past 20 years. I owned a pet sitting business for 5 years (2008 - 2012) and experience in general practice, emergency, specialty, and shelter medicine. Having a medical background allows me to pick up on medical issues and emergencies in a timely fashion, allowing for treatment if necessary. I am also able to administer medications as needed. I treat others' dogs the same way I treat my own pets and keep daily routines as close to their normal as much as possible. I work full time at a clinic and part time at the local humane society. I am available limited days during the week for walks and drop in services. Please see the calendar for up to date availability! I discuss your pets routine with you so I can keep it the same as possible during my visits. This helps keep your pet's schedule uninterrupted and allows for calmer and happier experiences!

Jess is a professional groomer with nearly 10 years experience grooming dogs of all shapes and sizes. Interested in getting your dog a spa day while they're here? She does in home grooming and does an excellent job! References available upon request. Alexis is an exhibitor and breeder of AKC American Akitas with 8 years of experience raising and showing dogs across the southeast. Both Alexis & Jess have training experience under their belts and have worked in dog rescue, shaping behavior and temperaments of dogs of many breeds and sizes. In our home, your dog will be treated as one of our own. We live on a quiet 1. 8 acre property with an acre of that securely fenced with a 6 foot privacy fence. We do have resident dogs, but they will not have access to nor come in contact with your pet staying with us! Given the breeds we own and our background in rescue and rehab, we are not strangers to powerhouse breeds, tougher temperaments or special needs dogs who need some time to adjust to new people or surroundings. Given our opposite work schedules, one of us is home almost all the time, so your dog will be in our company for most of his/her stay. Dogs are our world. We know how important they are in the lives of those who have them. Speaking from experience, we understand how nerve wracking and difficult it can be trusting someone enough to leave your dogs with them. It's something we struggled with for a long time, finding the right person to care for our own dogs in our absence.. we were fortunate enough to find a rockstar - so we hope that we can be that person for someone else!
