“Kelsey arrived promptly and stayed the full time. Kelsey did exactly what we discussed for Luca's care (feeding, taking him out and playing with him). Kelsey sent us timely updates on Luca. I would highly recommend her to any one.”

About: I've had dogs, cats, and rabbits but have also cared for guinea pigs, turtles and fish. Caring for your pet the way you do is most important. I am available most days and times. My open availability leaves you with piece of mind knowing there's someone that can help any time of the day. I have a big yard and will be spending lots of time outside. Really big on taking hikes, and playing ball. Staying hydrated will also be priority.non smoker.
“Elizabeth was wonderful with my kitties. She was patient and waited for them to warm up and had them coming to greet her just a few days in. She always sent great photos of the cats playing and kept them from feeling lonely while I was gone.”

About: I adopted a rambunctious shelter cat 5 years ago. She’s a wild child with a big personality! And I took in a stray cat about 2 years ago, who needed lots of care, including surgeries, food insecurity behaviors, etc. I’ve cared for cats my entire life, but these 2 girls have taught me how to handle the extremes. I am very knowledgeable about cats and their needs, and I can promise you, your baby will be taken care of as if they were my own (aka like perfect princess angels that I’d go to war for) I work from home, so I can immediately take care of any and all needs. I frequently check on my 2 cats, and have no issue stepping away from my desk if needed. In my home: My 2 cats have their own bedroom, catered to their playtime and nap time. They have free rein of the house, and are very welcoming to other cats. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care, and they do not go outside for their safety. In your home: I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, with kindness and patience. I will follow your routine. I will be sure to change my clothes and take off my shoes to avoid any anxiety from smells of my own pets.
About: I own my own dog, who is well trained, along with caring for neighbors dogs, and training. I have puppy sat at my own home for multiple nights. In my free time I watch a lot of dog training videos and love to do animal research. I enjoy cats while I do have limited experience. I am a full time college student however, I have my evenings free on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and weekends work great for me as well. I love training and I am extremely passionate about animals research so I love to learn more. I am detail oriented, and I have a dog of my own and have pet sat before so I have experience. I am really good with communication and respond frequently and in a timely manner, and I am relatively flexible with timing if need be.
“Grace was fantastic! Oliver clearly loved spending time with her! She went above and beyond and relieved my stress of having to leave my pup at home for so long. I will definitely be booking again in the future 😄”

“Donai was exceptional! I knew when she came to meet Alice and Hank and she got on the floor to meet them, and asked for some treats to win them over, that she had already won over my approval. She gave me daily updates and daily pictures. It made me so happy on my trip to both see them, and also see that they were being well cared for and loved. Would definitely book Donai again!!”

“Penny is fabulous! We needed a last minute sitter for our dog and we really lucked out. She took excellent care of our boys while we were away for the weekend. She was great at communicating with us throughout the weekend & we loved the thorough updates and pictures with every visit!! She is very reliable and we will definitely book with Penny again!!”

“Went above and beyond when our power went out while we were out of town, checking our breakers, taking home refrigerated medicine, etc. Took great care of our cats and kittens, administering medicine, scooping litterboxes, and just treating our animals with so much care. I can’t recommend Destinee enough to take care of your pets.”

“Mary is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter! She provided exceptional, top-tier service and was incredibly caring and responsible with our cat. It gave us total peace of mind knowing she was in such capable, loving hands. She is professional, trustworthy, and goes above and beyond. Highly, highly recommended!”

“Fatima took such good care of my kitty! And never failed to send updates and tons of photos! I could not recommend her enough as someone to trust to take care of your fur baby❤️❤️”

I spent 3 years caring for an 80 pound dog aggressive dog and 1 year caring for a 100 pound dog aggressive dog. I am also comfortable around dogs that are aggressive/territorial as I understand the extra level of respect, prep, and understanding they require. It’s not their fault and often times it’s a symptom that can be fixed through gaining their trust
“Eleanor was just great! Our pup is a little nervous and cautious around strangers and Eleanor handled that very well. She also made time for a quick meet and greet before her drop in later in the day. And all with short notice. We'd love to have her stay again with Gracie.”

About: I ran my mother’s pet care business for 2 years and am now working independently. I can easily build rapport and trust with any pet, and can handle all sizes and temperaments. I love animals have dedicated my life to their wellbeing. I’m a skilled handler, my own dogs all present their own challenges (especially on walks). Experienced in administering medications, including injectables. I run with my dogs and would love to run with a client’s dog who is up for it! I’m also up for hikes, long walks, or just a slow stroll for my senior dog friends. Cannot accept client where I will need to use a shock collar, sorry. I work from home and have a lot of flexibility to be home or check in on animals. I love to walk and be outside, so if you pets enjoy sunbathing while I'm on zoom calls, they'll love my set up! I volunteer with a local dog rescue and am a proud foster fail. :) I’m passionate about protecting all furry friends and finding the perfect home for each loving animal. I love all animals, big or small, and do my best to be flexible and communicate with you quickly and thoroughly. I hope you will consider me to help take care of your loved ones and I will be sure to give them lots of love while you're away. Currently working full time but have availability on weekends and most evenings to help out! About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a child, but have had my 3 cats for 13 years now. I recently moved, so I let them live with my mom sadly, I do miss them. Outside of my cats, I have helped walk and care for other dogs the past few years. If you give special instructions on how you would like for me to care for your dog/cat, I will do exactly that since I will be coming to your place and/or walking them. UPDATED AS OF 6/16/26- for now please refer to this update until life gets less busy. I have a 2 year old so I cannot watch your animals at your home at this current time, but I would still love to drop in and take care of them through the day or take them on walks. I can care for them at my home also. The hours listed below are still correct 😊 I work Monday-Friday until 3:30pm, but I can also come before work, take my lunch to let your pups out for a potty break half way through my shift! I always am off on the holidays. I do have every Saturday and Sunday completely free. After 3:30pm on the weekdays I have the entire day to spend with your animals :) I will follow all your instructions you give me for caring for your animals. I will always treat them like I would my own animals!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 557 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Rolling Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rolling Hills. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
