About: I have always had dogs, cats and various other pets. I have had 6 longhaired dachshunds that I raised from pups for the past 14-16 years I just lost my last dog Sept 5, 2023. By November I went to the humane society and found the cutest, sweetest little rescue pup. I am experienced with dogs, cats, birds, and various pets. I have made home made food for my dogs so I understand special diets. I would treat your pet as I do my own with lots of love and care I am willing to meet all of your pets needs even if they have special extras that you typically do for them. I am a retired letter carrier and I am available most days and hours. I need something to do with all my free time. I miss all the dog buddies from my route so I thought helping people with their pets would be a perfect fit for me. It’s nice to be able to do what you love. Taking care of pets has been a very rewarding experience for me. Having a pet is a privilege and a responsibility. They depend on us. I also know it takes trust to allow someone to stay in your home. I hope to earn it.

I’m especially experienced with senior dogs and skittish cats I recently left my job at an insurance company and have lots of time in my hands that I’d like to fill with caring for animals.
