About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life. Most recently I began regularly fostering dogs with LMAS. I have fostered over a dozen dogs of all ages but I specialize with puppies. I focus on house and crate training with puppies and I enjoy multiple daily walks through my neighborhood park. I currently work from home from 9-5 and I am free on weekends. In my spare time I enjoy running and riding my bike. I believe in the more the merrier so if your pup is up to join I'm all for it! My home has a moderately sized fenced in backyard and a screened in patio that is very popular with my foster puppies. About: Growing up, I’ve always been surrounded with pets and been given the opportunity to care for dogs numerous times. I am very patient with animals and genuinely find joy spending my time with them. After recently graduating from college and moving into a studio apartment, it has been an adjustment not being surrounded by pets. About: Former volunteer for the Humane Society with commercial kennel experience. Animals are unique individuals, just like us, and your pets deserve to be treated as such. Whether you've got active pets who need lots of playtime, shy kitties that need patience to warm up to strangers, or independent cats who just like their space, I meet them all with dedication and personal attention. I work evenings, so I'm available during the daytime hours (7am ~ 3pm) for drop in visits. Visits can be as short as 30 minutes to check up on things, or as long as 2 hrs to include playtime, cleanup, watering plants, etc. I am not currently able to do housesits or late-night visits Will provide at least one update per day during my visit, including photos. We can also go over emergency plans and vet contact info during the meet and greet.

I have experience with all breeds of dogs from toy poodles to great danes, and I've never met a dog I don't love. I've taken care of dogs who had daily pill regimens, and dogs who love to start their day at 6 am, so I've gained some interesting experience along the way. I'm very patient with puppies because I've trained two puppies already, and I know the type of commitment it takes to maintain training. I always had bigger breeds growing up so I'm always open to dogs other people might be hesitant about, and I know there's no such thing as a bully breed!

Daisy can be hard to handle during thunderstorms and with strangers, but Missy was able to calm her enough to get her to her house and keep her for the rest of my trip. “We had a wonderfully experience with Kaitlin as our dog sitter. She arranged a meet and greet beforehand to introduce our dogs and address questions and concerns on both sides. Kaitlin took the time to observe our dogs together and ask questions about their routines, quirks, preferences, etc. She is responsive to messages and skilled at keeping our dog on its medicine routine. When we picked them up, they were genuinely happy and they’d not picked up any bad habits. We look forward to doing this again with Kaitlin.”
