“I would give Abby 10 stars if I could. She took wonderful care of Dexter while we explored the Montrose/Ridgway/Ouray area. She sent photo updates even when she didn't have to, and puppers had a brilliant time. When we went to pick him up, we noticed that she was walking our five month old puppy (secure area) sans leash, and was happily and obediently following along. The woman is a dog whisperer and the real deal!”

“Summer was very welcoming for our meet up and took very good care of Jack while I was away. I know this as he was not anxious when I picked him up (as he is with larger boarding facilities) and appropriately tired from playing with her dog Ollie and the other dogs. Loved all of the sweet pics she sent as well. I hope to have Jack with Summer a lot more in the future and already have a weekend with her planned.”

“Micaela was amazing with my 16 year old beagle. She was so patient with him and able to take care of his special needs. She even gave him a heating pad under his bed to help with his old dog aches and pains. He was with her for ten days and was so well loved and taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Absolutely love and trust Jess!! Our dog Eddy loves his time he spends with Jess and all of his new furry friends. The group hikes are amazing and Eddy is one happy dog when he gets to stay with Jess. Thanks so much for your wonderful service and providing such a fun and safe environment for our Eddy.”

About: I have taken care of pets ever since I was a 14 years old, pet sitting for friends and family. As an adult I went to school to be a Veterinary Technician. I transitioned to working as an Animal Control Officer where I gained knowledge on administrating medication, vaccinations, and understanding animal health. I have worked at Veterinary Clinics and I am an active volunteer at the Animal Shelter. I am insured, I have a great understanding on separation anxiety and how to help with those feelings. I will ensure that your pet receives the best care from me and I will keep you updated along that way. I work in pet care full time. I do daily drop in visits for all pets and dog walking. I also provide boarding services in my own home for dogs. 🐶 I will treat your pets as if they were my own. You will get daily updates and the peace of mind that they are in good hands.

“Terry was great with Kyah. She took her on lots of walks. Terry was very understanding when we were late picking up our dog due to bad weather conditions. I was very pleased with her and highly recommend her.”

“Could not ask for a better experience. Jennifer helped me out by being available last minute for a 6 night stay and was both prompt and flexible. She took such great care of Mantis, who can be a bit of a handful - even gave him a bath which was just so kind. 10/10 would have Mantis stay here again next time we’re coming through Montrose. Wish she were in Denver!”

About: I love my own cats, dogs and reptiles of all ages in my household! I will absolutely love your animals as our own 💕💕 I have been in Montrose for 8 years. I always go home during lunch to let our dogs out. My lunch varies. Either I go home 11-12, 12-1 or 1-2. I usually have holidays off. My dogs are kennel trained. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around. My cats and dogs are friendly and vaccinated. My cats are fixed, our male dogs are not. One of my cats is blind.

“Toby had a great time with Dana, Eric and their daughter. Oh yes and also Kelso , their chocolate lab. He loved the country life for a week. I received some pictures and updates so definitely put my mind at ease. They took great care of him and I will for sure use them again.”

About: Hello! My name is Hanna and I was raised here in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. I grew up with two wonderful dogs, who I would spend most of my free time hiking, swimming, and mountain bike riding with. I lived in NYC for 8 years which is where I went to college and met my husband. Last year we made the move back home to Paonia where we now have a wonderful house and live with our 6 year old yellow lab named Blue. As a family we love to be outside, whether it's hiking, being at home in the garden, walking the river, or riding bikes. Blue is a very mellow dog who gets along with every dog he meets. He loves playing fetch and swimming so you can often find us out at the river or at the park. Both my husband and I work from home with flexible schedules so will be around and present for your pet. Overall I'm a naturally energetic person who would love to bring my energy and excitement to your pet's life! I work from home and set my own schedule so it's flexible throughout the day allowing me to take walks and be outside whenever I like. Every day I take two, hour long walks - one in the late morning and one the early evening with my dog. Throughout the day we're also outside in the yard where there's grass. I own the home I live in which is right in downtown Paonia. There's a fenced yard with grass and room to play. We're walking distance to 2 parks, as well as the walking path along the river.

“Liz was a wonderful fit for my 2 pups! She took great care of them, lots of walking and snuggling, which they very much appreciated. I felt totally comfortable leaving them in her care for several days while I was out of touch, it was a comfort to know they were in good hands :)”

“We have used Daniella and Eric twice for our Vizsla Dexter. They are wonderful with him and treat him as their own. The pictures and video updates meant the world to us and helped us know he is great hands. We look forward to his next stay with them. Thank you again for everything.”

About: I was with my boy Sylo for almost 14 years now, and I know how incredibly important it is to trust that your companion is being *very* well taken care of. I live on a quiet piece of land right outside of Paonia. Daily walks are non-negotiable, and I love to get out on mellow adventures as much as possible. I go on a 30-45 minute walk every single morning, and another long walk every evening. I work from home so I make sure to take them outside for potty breaks or short walks very often! We go on leash walks every day- but if we go on an adventure, I am more than happy to keep your companion on a long leash if that makes you feel more comfortable.

About: I have grown up with all kinds of pups…border collies, black mouth currs, aussies, heelers…I currently have a pitbull and a golden retriever myself who I love very much. I also have a cat who is my absolute world. I was taught pet responsibility at a very young age, and also showed steers in 4h, which I feel are just very large dogs. I currently work full time, but I do work from home Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday at my home in Delta. Tuesday’s and Fridays, I am in Montrose. The weekends are pretty open for me, but if at all possible, please contact in advance just in case I am busy! I like to give lots of attention to your pets as well as my own. Lots of playtime for my golden (my pit is an old lady, so she just likes to be lazy).

“Laura and Sam were great! They were gracious enough to do a greet and meet with us prior to the stay to make the dogs and us more comfortable. They sent updates and photos/videos that kept us at ease while on our trip. They went above and beyond to take care of our babies. We can’t recommend them enough!”

“Linda and her family took great care of Ritz! They love dogs, have a great yard, and are great people! Ritz made lots of new friends and seemed to have a great time.”

Hanna B.
“Hanna helped what we call our "rescue" dog (a 5 mos old lab puppy) really come out of his shell. He was the last of the litter to get adopted and was on his own in a dog kennel for a least two months with very little social interaction from the breeder until we got him. He was shy, scared and cowered whenever people came to our house. Hanna spent two weeks with him loving on him, playing with him and walking him a lot. He transformed into a different dog and we are forever grateful to her for helping us now have a flown blown, normal 7 mos old puppy. She's great about fully exercising him and truly making him feel like he is special and loved. Thank you, Hanna!”

“Rebecca took amazing care of our dogs and we loved the daily updates she sent us. She treated our fur babies as if they were her own. It's clear Rebecca is good with pets. We will definitely continue to leave Nikki and Nami with her any time we leave.”

Rieley L.
“Rieley is a person who loves animals. I have never seen her not be friendly or harmful to any animal at all. She would be the ideal person to take care of your animals.”
