“Justinh took a last minute request for house sitting and was communicative and professional the whole time. We’ll definitely hit her up the next time we go out of town!”

“We are repeat customers of Kimmie because she is simply the best! She takes such wonderful care of our dogs, Maya and Carter, and truly treats them as if they were her own sweet little fur babies. This trip was especially difficult for us because both dogs had recently undergone surgery, and we were understandably anxious about leaving them. Kimmie went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable, loved, and well cared for while we were away. She kept us updated with messages and photos, giving us tremendous peace of mind. It means the world to know our pups are in such compassionate and capable hands. We couldn’t recommend Kimmie more highly and will absolutely continue trusting her with our precious dogs. Thank you, Kimmie, for loving Maya and Carter like family. ❤️”

About: I’m a dependable animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve spent a lot of time around dogs, cats, and other small animals, and I’m comfortable handling feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and basic care routines. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to watch their pets because I treat every animal like my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. My goal is always to provide a calm, reliable environment where pets get plenty of attention, activity, and love. I have plenty of time to care and love your dog. I treat every animal as if it was my own. My home is also spacious and I have a large fenced in back yard with a back porch. Your dog will get all the love and cuddles while you’re away and be in great hands! I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room. I also live in a reasonably sized home and have two young children that will love and play with them. They will be able to hangout and sleep with me or on a dog bed! 😊

“Whitney was great with my two dogs, Margarita and Mandy. She loved on them and made them feel comfortable while I was out of town. She sent me updates and pictures daily of how they were doing I would definitely recommend and use Whitney again when I need to be away from my babies!!!”

“Megan is terrific sitting with our 3 dogs and3 cats.. she knew how to win them over and communicates well with us periodically during the stay, and we are so impressed! Thank you Megan!”

“Monica was wonderful with our pups. She showed them tons of attentions and play time and gave us daily updates and pictures. It gave us such peace of mind to know they were being so well taken care of.”

“Kristen went above and beyond when she sat for my 2 pups for 9 days. She sent pictures daily and bonded well with them. My home was clean and tidy when we arrived home. Can't say enough good words about Kristen. We will certainly call on her again to care for our "babies"!!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of every age and need since I was 10 — from rowdy puppies and playful kittens to senior pets with special requirements. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications, tracking dosage schedules, and watching for changes in appetite, mobility, or behavior. With senior pets, I focus on gentle routines, extra rest, and close attention to comfort. With younger pets, I prioritize safe socialization, play, and structure so they get the interaction and exercise they need. I offer boarding and house sitting, so pets stay in a comfortable, familiar routine whether they’re in my care or their own home. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to feed, medicate, and care for their pets like my own. I’m currently working part-time from home, so I have plenty of flexibility to give your pets real attention, not just a quick check-in. Here’s what a typical visit or stay looks like: • Available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2pm • Flexible daytime drop-ins for medication schedules and older pets who need consistency • Extra playtime and outdoor walks built into every visit, not rushed • Happy to adjust timing around your pet’s normal routine so nothing feels disrupted I treat every pet like my own, with a strong focus on both physical safety and mental enrichment. Here’s what you can expect: • Fenced yard and two friendly, dog-savvy dogs to keep your pet company • Daily outdoor time for fresh air, sniffing, and exercise — not just a backyard bathroom break • Enrichment activities like puzzle feeders, treat-scattering, and interactive play to keep their mind engaged • Comfortable crating available if that’s part of your pet’s routine • Careful medication administration and monitoring for any dogs or cats with health needs • A calm, decorated, pet-friendly space that feels like home, not a kennel
“This was the second time Alexandra took care of our dogs and cat. Both times she took excellent care of our pets. She provided updates and included pictures. Would book with her again.”

About: Reliable, active, and caring dog sitter who treats every pup like family. I provide personalized attention, plenty of playtime, and a safe, loving environment so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a teacher and volleyball coach, caring for others is already a big part of my daily routine. My schedule is built around responsibility, consistency, and staying active, which makes pet care a natural fit. Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, feeding, or evening check-ins, I make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I follow your pet’s normal routine; such as feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles; while keeping your home tidy, secure, and filled with comfort in your absence
“We had a lovely experience booking Andrea. We got lots of updates, pictures, and videos of our kitties. Andrea was very thoughtful and gave our cat his medicine even when we were about to be home so we had one less thing to do after a hectic day. I would definitely book again if our cats needed watching ☺️”
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and I love them endlessly. I would love the opportunity to shower your animals with the love and care they need while you are away. I work full time but I have a schedule abnormal to most. I have lots of free time during the day before 3 during most weekdays, and evenings on weekends. Message me if you see a time that is not available and we’ll see if we can work something out! :) I will give your animal lots of love and attention, and make sure that they are well taken care of when they are with me. I will treat them like my own pups.
About: I grew up with the sweetest, most loving dog. My family lost her years back, and I’ve missed having a dog of my own, but being a student, I do not have time to get one. However, I have dog sat and cared more family members and friends and have loved every second! ❤️ I recently graduated from grad school and just moved down to TX with my fiancée! I am currently studying for my boards exam and am available all day M-F. 🤗 I have a house with a fenced in yard, feel comfortable with crating dogs, and any additional responsibilities that may be asked of me! I also love running, if any pups have a little more energy to burn through!

About: I’ve casually taken care of dogs and cats for friends for several years, but I’ve had experience handling farm animals like alpacas since I was eight. I’m not afraid of cleaning messes or handling big pets, and I love to pamper my fluffy clientele! I’m a college student who has a lot of availability, so I’m here for your pets every need. I can pop in early morning, noon, and late at night! I like to keep every environment I’m in better than I found it, and I’m happy to tidy up and comfort my fluffy pet friends when their family is away

About: Welcome to your baby’s home away from home 🫶🏼 I work remote, and can tend to your babies 24/7. My home is quiet, cozy, and safe. Pets will be guaranteed cuddles, walks, play time, and/or whatever else you need. 😊 I’m an animal lover through and through, and have taken care of countless pets—from dogs and cats, to horses and livestock (which I owned and cared for over 17 years). 🐎 I am experienced in medication administration, behavioral management, and animal de-escalation in case of emergencies. My nearest vet is also just 5 minutes away. 💗 I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They are sweet and enjoy friends but can surely be separated if your pet(s) need their own space. Thank you for considering, and I hope to meet your babies soon! I work full time remote, with highly flexible hours. I am able to tend to your baby 24/7 if needed, without distractions or other obligations. When I do leave, it’s typically just for short bursts of time. I have a 1200 sq ft duplex with an unfenced yard. I take multiple walks each day and would be happy to bring your pets with me. My home is equipped with dog and cat toys/supplies. My local vet is 5 minutes away in case of emergencies. My home stays quiet, calm, and cozy. I’ve seen pets of all kinds fit right in here. I do have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They love other animals and friends, but I can separate them or crate your pet if needed. I’m comfortable administering medication, hand/bottle feeding, and even injections. Happy to accommodate your animal in any way they need.
“Arianna was wonderful, and Piper seemed to really warm up to her and enjoy herself while we were gone. We're thankful for the communication and that the house was left clean after her stay. We will look forward to hiring Arianna again in the future!”

“Darren is a thoughtful care giver for my fur babies. After months of not walking them, he got them back into a routine to help myself and my dogs on the road to wellness. Our home was cared for and has been super attentive to our needs. All instructions were followed and felt confident about Darren's care while we were on holiday. I highly recommend his services!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Rogers
Justinh & Patrick were so amazing and took the best care of our 3 babies while we were gone. We received lots of pictures and updates that gave us peace of mind while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend them and look forward to booking with them again!!

Justinh and Patrick are the most fantastic pet sitters we’ve ever had. While we were on vacation 6+ hours away one of our dogs was unfortunately bit by a venonmous snake in our backyard and Justinh noticed immediately that she had a large amount of swelling and discoloration to her mouth and nose. Justinh communicated with us instantly by phone and kept us updated on her condition. She provided medication to her and sent pictures. After a few hours we determined our dog needed emergency level care and she and her husband Patrick drove our baby to the nearest pet ER. She kept us updated on the care she received from the vet and helped facilitate the paperwork with questions that might have asked. They stayed with our dog while they performed blood tests and let us know what the outcome was. When it was deemed she had been bite by a snake she quickly let us know and our baby received the best care for the next two days to come. She even picked up our dog when she was discharged home and stayed for the duration of the day to ensure she received her medication and was safe until we could get home. I can’t say enough good things about Justinh and Patrick. They made us feel confident that our dogs were taken care of and even more so when we had an emergency come up. They treated our babies like family and I can’t wait to have them watch our dogs again in the future.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Rogers on Rover is $48.45 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of September 2026, there are 298 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Rogers. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Rogers walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Rogers maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Rogers choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Rogers. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
