About: Ever since I was a little girl I have loved dogs. We always had dogs in the house when I was growing up. On August 5, 2024, I lost my dog, Lana, after 19 years. She was a Jack Russell/Poodle mix. I would love to take care of doggies and treat them just like my Lana with lots of love, hugs and hanging out on the couch. I will take one dog up to 25 pounds for boarding. I would take more than one small dog if he or she is from the same household. Your dog will be allowed on the couch and bed. I have a fenced in back yard where your dog will always be accompanied by me. I will give lots of cuddles and love. I recently retired. I am home most of every day and every night. For boarding, the schedule is 3 PM until 3 PM the next day. This is flexible as long as it’s all before 6 PM. I’m sure your small dog will love running around my fenced back yard. Dogs naturally love me and I love them. Your pet must have flea protection, and all vaccinations. I do not smoke or drink. There are no pets in the home. I do have a grandson that I watch three days per week. House is one floor with a chain link fence in the back yard.

About: Freedom is my actual birth name (preferred btw) So here at Freedom Cares 🫶🏼 I believe all animals have their own unique level of care needs. I grew up with a variety of furry friends from a very young age. I remember being 3 and hiding in my Nanas room with Kittens and snuggling them trying to feed them with my (dolls play baby bottle) and. My experience with animals Includes dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys, ducks, turtles, cows, fish and more. Animals are always drawn to my calming energy, regardless of where I am. Farm, fair, friends house, walks, etc. I Firmly believe my Biological mom named me Freedom for a reason. I am a private caregiver to those with disabilities. Therefore my schedule is quite flexible. I can do drop inns, boarding, overnights, walks and more. Some of my clients even enjoy pet therapy. As long as the pet owner is up to that. 😊 As a kid I had many animals and experience with farm life. Including 4H training for dogs. I most recently have experience at a dog daycare. Where we practiced techniques from The Dog Guru. More importantly each animal/client/prospect is different. Therefore, I will follow the clients/animals routine. Whether the animals need long walks and extra attention. Or just a quick drop in and some fresh water. Or extra lovings while their owner is away. Your animal/animals will surely be taken care of.

About: I am just a life-long, no-kid, dog-mom. I have cared for dogs at all life stages, and with various behavioral needs - have even had to learn a little doggy body language for my rescue buddy. I work remote 3-4 days a week from home via Zoom or phone - which both have incredibly effective noise cancelling technology = barks are no problem! My home office has sliding glass doors that open to the back yard for easy supervision and quick access. I also work onsite 3-4 days a week in Latham for 4-8 hours a day. If that's a concern, I can confirm my schedule at booking. I limit bookings to one doggie guest at a time, whether daycare or boarding; Rover will show me available for one if the other is booked, but I do my best to manually update my availability in those cases. I have a big fenced, grassy yard that’s treated for fleas and ticks. Whether your buddy’s into chasing balls, catching zzz’s, leaning into squishies, and/or scarfing snackies, I’ve got them covered. Your dog will be treated like family - with care, snuggles, and supervision to keep them safe.

About: As a full-time elementary school teacher and lifelong dog lover, I bring a unique blend of patience, responsibility, and playful energy to pet care. I’ve grown up around dogs and have helped care for everything from energetic puppies to sweet senior pups. I understand that each dog has their own personality, needs, and quirks—just like my students! Currently enjoying my teacher summer and have a lot of time on my hands! I live in a dog friendly apartment with a roomy, AC filled space. I babysit babies occasionally, but am looking for more to fill my days! I just moved here from Boston and am missing my family dog back at home…would love to get back my daily dose of dog snuggles! I live in a clean, dog-friendly apartment with my boyfriend, and we both love animals! While I don’t currently have a dog here, I have one back home, so I’m very familiar with creating a safe, loving environment. I always keep a close eye on pets during walks and playtime, and I make sure they’re comfortable, secure, and happy at all times.
