About: I have always had pets in my home as a child and as an adult. I believe in fresh air for the dogs and treats for good behavior, if owner I do ask that your pet have a crate to sleep in at night. Please bring something from home for their comfort as well. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule that would accommodate many options for pet owners. I have a pug mix dog named Fonzy and he loves making new dog friends. I take care of pets in my own home. I will feed and clean pets. Walking and playing is a part of my daily routine with my own dog, Fonzy.

About: Ive taken care of many animals. Ive raised one of my dogs since a puppy and It was very easy, I dont think taking care of dogs is hard. I do my best to keep the animal happy! Ive had a lot of animals in my life that I would take care of. Me and my husband would watch his grandparents dog when they went on trips. We would make sure we did EVERYTHING they asked us to do and also keep the dog company such as play with her. Trust me the grandma was very strict on what she wanted us to do for her dog and we satisfied her needs. Anything you would ask me to do I will do everything you need me to do. Such as Feeding,Showering,Taking it out to potty, cleaning up the poop and the most important thing of all PLAY WITH THEM! I also, try to teach them to shake or sit, just the basics. Then i’ll give them a treat for their good listening/behaviors.Now I know its not “professional” work but I consider it as experience. I love animals so much! I want to become a veterinarian when I start going into college. Its my passion to keep pets safe and happy. I currently JUST moved to Washington in August 2024, and I had a job at Amazon but it was seasonal so I’m currently unemployed, so I have all the time in the world. I have a fenced backyard and it’s plenty of space for the doggy to exercise by running around and just having fun with my black Labrador. I take my girl on walks when it’s sunny so she can stretch her legs and get a mini exercise. I make sure she is on a potty schedule, so basically every 2-3 hours she goes outside.

About: Treat your pets like they're my own pets, and I love your pets as they where my own pets too. My pet care experience would help my family take of their pets and working in the veterinary field. I also have a certificate in veterinary assistant. My available days will be on weekends I have skills of doing nails and your pets anla glands if your pets need them done. Another skill I have I can teach your pet how to sit, lay down also stay. I also will make sure that your pet is happy while you are not home. I will play with your pet and I will take your pets on long walks. Make they are ready for bed when you get home so you can rest easy. I am a full time mom looking for something to do on the weekends to help people with their pets. And to show my children how to care for other people pets. I take care of my pets like my own kids. As well making sure they are properly cared for and safe. About: Hello! Thank you for considering me to care for your furry loved ones. Here’s some background on my pet care experience: I worked closely with a personal trainer for my Husky Kira. This gave me the tools to handle some tough behaviors & anxious tendencies. We have made great progress as I am able to use commands like come, heel, place, wait, & I can walk her while remaining in control on any pulling or reactive behaviors. I currently care for 2 cats & 2 dogs with the help of family members. This includes scheduled feeding, daily walking, play-time, socializing & vet visits. I also do drop-ins for a close friend’s cats on weekends or whenever needed. I fostered a puppy litter of 8 in 2021, which included scheduled feeding, play-time, socializing, vaccinations, frequent supervision, cleaning & finding the right forever homes. Growing up, I helped my mom foster & cared for many different animals. I believe I have gained a proper knowledge on observing many behaviors, breeds, & pets of all ages to adequately care for your pets needs & wants. *This does not include aggression & dangerous behaviors. Please specify!* I currently work remote part-time & choose my own work hours. This allows me to schedule feeding times morning & evening, caring for them accordingly. A healthy, safe, & happy environment is a top priority for me. We get to decide the lives our pets live. In my home, our dogs allergies are considered when choosing food, they have their own spaces in home, go on walks, access to outdoors when needed & also visit the dog park for socializing. Our cats have many spaces to themselves as they enjoy alone time, & always have access to fresh food & water.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs in my life, I currently have 3 miniature schnauzers which I trained when they were puppies. I also had a lab who was my best friend as a kid. I experience various different types of dog personalities and I love every second of it! I’m currently working a part time job but it’s only two days a week, Thursday and Saturday 4-9. If you would like for me to dog sit keep in mind I will be gone during those times. This summer I have minimal plans besides my job so give me a text on what days and I got you covered! If your pup isn’t allowed on the furniture, I’ll gladly take a spot on the floor to keep them company and make sure they feel loved and relaxed. If there are toys around, when they are feeling up for it we can play! I’ll keep your dog active, loved, and having fun. We’ll also head out for plenty of walks as long as it is not too hot for the pups paws. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: a happy dog and a happy owner. That’s what being a dog sitter is all about!

About: I used to do 4-H with my dog for 4 years, which taught me how to train and interact with dogs, and to understand dog body language. I will love your dog as my own. This will be my only part-time job, so I will dedicate all of my time to my Rover clients. I'm available all week except Saturdays & Sundays. I would love to walk your dog around your neighborhood, and get to know them as I spend more time with them. I will take care of them, give them water if they need it during the walk, play with them, take a break if your dog needs it.

About: I grew up with many family pets (cats, dogs, barnyard, etc.), so when friends or family left town they would ask me to watch their animals. As an adult friends still think of me to care of their pets. I’ve just checked in on (a meal and potty break) to full pet sitting for weeks on animals sized all the way from cats and Dachshunds up to Great Danes and Pit Bulls. They have been anywhere from freshly brought home puppies to older timers and ranged from being self reliant and really needing a lounging buddy all the way to pets needing constant attention and regular medicine/outside breaks. Beyond that though, I have had 5 years of professional work experience at a dog kennel (German Shepherds). That includes taking care of +10 dogs daily needs such as feeding, exercising, very basic training, grooming, and providing medicine. I am currently working full time on weekdays. So I am limited to being available after 4:30pm weekdays, but have open availability most all weekends. I am currently living in a house with my cats and can only offer your pet leashed visits to the green spaces on the property or a visit to the parks in Pierce County. I would prefer providing care to pets in their space and around sights and smells they already know. Unless you know your pet does well in a new environment, I like keeping comfort and regular routines in mind for pets.

About: I have worked at an animal hospital for 5 years total where I learned how to train dogs from Kathy Sadao who used to train the wales to relinquish the bombs for the Navy. I have owned large and XL breed dogs my whole life as well. I will treat your dog like a human child as they will be allowed on my furniture, my bed, and probably my kids beds as well. I have a little over 10 acres for them to play on. We are starting a small farm style residents and would love to shower your fur babies with love and attention. Since starting Rover, 90% of my clients are returning, and become part of our family as well. I have trained people’s dogs in the time I have had them along with help manage dogs anxiety’s to different things. I helped a water aggressive dog become no longer water aggressive. A dog who pulled on a leash so hard you couldn’t walk him to now, my 6 year old son walks him with no worries. As much as my family loves to play with and cuddle your 4 legged babies we also love to help you out by training them if we can. I have plenty of time for all pet care needs to be met. I am a stay at home mom, but all my kids now go to school so your fur babies will have all my attention most of the time during the week. I have a fenced yard, very safe neighborhood, loving high energetic family, big house, 10 acres, and I have worked at an animal hospital in the past I can tell if something is wrong with your dog. If you would like I love sending pictures and videos as well.

About: I had my first dog at age 14. I’ve always loved animals. I have a calming nature when it comes to animals. They generally like me. Plenty of time on my hands to explore new opportunities. I’m looking for part time work and flexibility in schedule. I think Rover is a perfect opportunity to have fun and achieve my current needs. I have 2 indoor/outdoor cats. I am not open to boarding other animals at this time. But I can come to you! House sit or pet sit.
