About: Hi there! I’m Awia, and I’ve had around 25 years of experience caring for animals. I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs and cats, and I currently have a sweet Pekingese named Peking along with two cats, Lolli and Ashley. They’re all friendly, gentle, and used to having new furry friends around. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs at various animal shelters over the years—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I also have six wonderful children who absolutely adore animals. They’re gentle, respectful, and regularly nominated for Kindness Awards at their school. Your pet will receive extra love, attention, and cuddle sessions from them—helping your furry family member feel right at home. I’m currently working on my nonprofit organization, and during my downtime I’ve chosen to walk dogs and care for animals. It’s such a fun and rewarding way to spend the day—you get to hang out with adorable pups, enjoy some exercise, and soak up the sunshine. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment for your pets. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, I’m fortunate to live within a beautiful nature preserve and park system. This means your pup can enjoy walks along scenic, well-maintained paths with plenty of fresh air and minimal street traffic. If boarding, I’ll make sure your dog gets regular, safe walks and plenty of attention, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for. All of my personal pets—Peking, Lolli, and Ashley—are up to date on vaccinations, and are on flea and heartworm prevention medication. For the safety and comfort of all animals, I kindly ask that visiting pets are also clean and flea-free. If a pet arrives needing a bath, I’m happy to provide one, and a pet bath fee will be added to your booking. This ensures a fresh, healthy, and pleasant environment for everyone.

About: I grew up with a large golden retriever and small mixed terrier for 10+ years until I went to college. I have just graduated college. I am not able to get a pet of my own yet, but I would love to help you with yours. I LOVE dogs. I have a huge heart and lots of patience for any breed. (Updated: May/June 2026) I am a teacher, so I have summers completely off, and I get home early on school days. I am already a very active person who goes outside to run or walk every day, so adding in your dog is perfect and enjoyable for both of us! I typically go for a run/workout for about 2 hours in the morning in the summers, but am free to be with your dog the rest of the day (Updated: May/June 2026) Located in New Albany/Westerville area. While I live in an apartment, we have 2 dog parks, lots of open grass, and I am always looking for an excuse to go to the 6 minute drive park with a dog walking trail near me or one near you. Your pet would love it! I am willing to do a meet & greet ahead of time. For safety reasons, I am only willing to care for 1 dog (or 2 from the same family) at a time. I am happy to send several updates/photos per day as you desire to confirm your pet’s health and happiness.

About: Hi, I’m VJ. I work from home most of the time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I have two dogs of my own: a 6-year-old female Bernese Mountain Dog and a medium male Goldendoodle. Both are gentle, submissive, and friendly with other dogs. My Bernese especially has a sweet “mama bear” personality and is very nurturing around other pets. My home is calm, dog-friendly, and comfortable. Pets are allowed on the furniture, and I want visiting dogs to feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family while they are here. I live in a quiet neighborhood with very little road noise, and there is a large community park close by where I can take dogs for walks, fresh air, and playtime based on their comfort level and your instructions. I’m best suited for dogs who are potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and not destructive in the home. I like to keep a peaceful environment, so I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure your dog feels comfortable with me, my dogs, and the space. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I will follow your dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any house rules you share. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you feel connected while you are away. Your dog will be treated with patience, affection, and respect in a safe home environment. I work from home most of the time, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day for potty breaks, feeding, playtime, walks, and supervision. I can give dogs plenty of attention and keep their routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home. Your dog will be cared for like part of the family in a calm, dog-friendly home. I have two sweet, submissive dogs who are used to being around other pets. My Bernese has a gentle “mama bear” personality, and my Goldendoodle loves to play fetch. I have an invisible fence for my own dogs, but I do not rely on it for visiting pets. Guest dogs are supervised outdoors and taken out on leash unless we discuss and agree on a safe routine together. I always prefer a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I also like to follow each dog’s normal feeding, potty, walk, playtime, and sleep routine as closely as possible so they feel relaxed and cared for while you are away.

About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.

More than likely, I will pet or talk to your dog before I start a conversation with you...I’ve always had dogs in my household growing up. I’ve volunteered at an animal rescue for 4 years which sparked my love for dogs. I have also fostered a few dogs during COVID. No matter the breed, size, age, color, I will spoil and love your dog to my fullest potential. I’m always trying to find new ways to entertain dogs wether it’s by walking, playing with a garden hose, zoomies in the backyard, whatever I can do to make sure your dog is having the time of their life while you’re away. I work from home so I am home all day during the week! I do run errands during the week but am only gone for an hour or so at a time. While I work from home, I will mainly be in my office space but will always be checking in on your doggo. I hope they would be comfortable enough to join me in my office while I work! I have a fully fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood for peaceful walks. If your dog requires or is more comfortable in a crate, I can comfortably fit one in my home as well.

I lost my female in February. I have a senior lab mix who would like company & i would like more interaction with dogs. My husband works part time from home. We have a nice yard for play time. About: Hi! My name is Addi, I have a lovely boxer of my own who is absolutely adorable and energetic. I’ve taken care of loads of doggies, breeds such as staffies, frenchies, yorkis, boxers and chihuahuas! I’m a current student and work as a volunteer in the ministry so my mornings are often slightly busy from the hours of 8 AM to about 1 PM but I always work around the schedule of the dog I’m taking care of. I currently do not offer in house sittings because I find that dogs are easier to care for when thy ey are in their own home environment.
