“Mira absolutely loved her stay with them. They were very welcoming and answered any questions that we had. They provided steady updates/pictures and were understanding of the fact that she’s a puppy and still learning. We would 100% recommend them to anyone!”

About: I have had over 20 cats in my 20 years of living & 4 dogs growing up with lots of pets became a lifestyle for me. now with working at pet lodge its even more of a everyday habit to treat the animals just like humans usually available every Monday and Friday due to working at the pet lodge frequently time is limited but if offer is negotiable I can open my schedule during work & at home I am giving dogs either meds food consistently or the most valuable helpful care they need to enjoy a better well being

“Juliane was super sweet ! I felt 100% comfortable leaving my dog with her for the few nights I needed to. I asked to keep me updated with pictures and she did just that! Would 100% recommend and would book again if needed”

About: I’ve been a life time animal lover! I grew up with two dogs, a German Shepherd and a Westie. I currently live on a 300 acre farm with 9 cats. We have a guest house where I will board your pet, so no need to worry about any interaction with my current pets. I can offer a relaxing atmosphere and all day care on weekends along with morning and afternoon care on week days. I can also board or do drop-in visits for fish, hamsters, or horses. Your dog will love a relaxing mountain retreat! Your cat can enjoy a quiet vacation! I work full time as a teacher. I can board your pet all weekends or in the afternoons. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.

“I am so very pleased with Cheryl and her furry family. Cheryl was very meticulous about assessing my dogs needs and care right from the start. My dog is quite skidish about new dogs, new environments and new people. This was no challenge for Cheryl. She was able to ease my dogs insecurities right away and allowed her 2 dogs time to meet our little girl on her terms and very cautiously. Cheryl was flexible with my drop off and pick up times and communicated with me throughout the entire stay with updates and photos. She also provided my dog with medications for her skin and gave us great feedback on how I may be able to better care for her allergies. Cheryl is a very responsible dog owner and it certainly carries into her ability to care for my dog as well. My dog was happy and stress free while in Cheryl's care and I will definitely be using her again! If you're looking for a caretaker that will provide top notch care and treat your furry companion with the love and respect they deserve, then look no further and reach out to Cheryl.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs most of my life. Our family has had many fur babies. I have extensive experience with oral medication and taking care of senior dogs. I work full time, but will always make time for my furry friends. Extensive availability on nights and weekends. Please call me with any questions. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can also accommodate dogs that prefer a crate for personal space.

About: I grew up with two small dogs - Sam (Japanese Chin-Poodle Mix) and Liz (Shih-Tzu). Currently, I own two mixed-breed dogs with my husband in Newburg, PA. During high school and college, I dog-sat for family, friends and neighbors. I mainly have experience with small to medium-sized dogs; however, I’ve been recently volunteering at Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter to help me gain more experience with larger breeds. I also have experience with the following: puppy training, older dogs with special needs, and caring for dogs who are in post-surgery recovery/rehabilitation. I also possess general grooming skills which includes bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and basic body grooming with clippers. I work full-time in Shippensburg from 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walking in the evenings after 5:30 Monday through Friday. I’m available for boarding, day care, dog-walks and drop-in visits on the weekends. Boarding would start 5:30 on Friday and all dogs would need to be picked up by 5:30 on Sunday at the latest. One day boarding is also available (Friday into Saturday). Your dog’s safety and comfortability are very important to us. Our home is a one-story rancher with a fenced-in backyard. There is plenty of space for your dog to explore and get their zoomies out! We ensure there are slow, positive, leash-controlled introductions with our dogs and any other dogs in our care in order for the new dog to feel comfortable and accepted. All dogs are under supervised play and given access to appropriately-sized toys and treats for their breed. Feedings are given in a separate room away from our dogs. We use baby gates and shut doors to keep dogs within a limited, supervised area. At night, dogs are allowed to sleep in bed with us, on the floor in their own bed or in a crate that can be set up in our room. Walks are done around our quiet neighborhood or at the Hopewell Township Park which is a 5 minute walk from our home. Proper harness setup and leash attachment will be checked prior to going on the walk to ensure their safety. For pick-up or drop-off car rides, we provide a dog hammock in the backseat of our Toyota RAV4 and attach the dog’s harness to a seatbelt. If your dog has their own car seat, we can certainly use it, as long as they’re able to be buckled in. Your contact information and vet information will be readily available in case of emergency.

“Beth and her family could not have been a better to our dog, Madge. Beth sent us an update every day so we could see what Madge was up to which was especially helpful for our son who was worried about his beloved dog. We are so thrilled to have found her and look forward to using her sitting services again!”
