About: Growing up on a farm, I had the opportunity to care for a wide variety of animals, from livestock to household pets. This hands-on experience, combined with my background in fisheries and wildlife biology, has given me a deep understanding of animal care. Over the years, friends and family have trusted me to look after their pets, knowing I treat every animal with the same love and attention I give my own. As a devoted dog owner, I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets, and I’d be delighted to provide that same level of care for yours. I currently work Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the flexibility of working from home about 75% of the time. This gives me decent availability depending on my schedule. I’m fully available Friday through Sunday to care for any furry friends in need. During the week, I can accommodate early morning drop-ins before 7:00 AM and late drop-ins after 3:30 PM, depending on my availability. I own a home in a safe, pet-friendly neighborhood with easy access to multiple hiking trails and beaches, perfect for outdoor adventures. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and am comfortable handling walks of any length or activity level. Most importantly, I care deeply about your pet’s safety, whether I’m caring for them in your home or taking them out for a walk.

About: I have extensive experience taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens, but am open and excited to take care of all pets. I am new to Rover, but have completed over 40 sits through TrustedHousesitters watching many dogs, cats, and kittens, ranging from weekend sits to entire months and have been pet sitting full time for 1 and a half years. I have watched dogs and cats of all ages and have experience administering medication (including insulin, pills, liquid). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals as I watched an entire farm by myself including goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, cats and dogs. My favorite activities include running, hiking, and anything outdoorsy. I am a marathon runner and I have completed 6 marathons so far and have run numerous half marathons. I love to house/pet sit because it gives me the opportunity to be around cute pets and make some extra income as I recently moved back to Portland after taking a gap year. I have 3.5 years of experience working remotely in the medical communications field and I am a UC Davis alumni. About: I have been the go-to source for pet care for family and friends, as long as I can remember! I understand how hard it is to be separated from our pets and do my best to give them as much love as you do! I am currently available seven days a week for all your pet care needs! I am active and enjoy getting outside to hike and enjoy the beautiful Oregon Coast! I have a fenced in yard, live within a few blocks of Open Space trails,and the beach! About: Hi! My name is Alex D. and I absolutely love dogs. I’m 23 years old and live in Tillamook Oregon. I’m currently working at the Oregon Department of Forestry! Dogs are always welcome in my current household and I am excited to meet, play, watch after and bond with your canine companion! I have a 7 year old border collie of my own named Sky at home in Massachusetts. I have a lot of experience in training my dog to sit and lay down using treats. I'm currently working four, ten hour days Monday through Thursday. Which means I am available friday through sunday to take care of, walk, or sit your dog! When taking care of pets in my home, I make sure to give them the proper attention and care that they need. This includes walks, bathroom breaks, hiking, and other activities that will stimulate your pup!

About: I’ve always enjoyed taking care of animals … most of my experience comes from dogs … I have worked around a lot of huskies . I used to help give dog sled tours to cruise ship tourists in Alaska. I have experience w older dogs that have been my own … So my house address says seaside Oregon . However , im a traveling nurse aid that works in nursing homes…. I work in Vancouver, and centralia mostly right now .. I work night shift mostly and I just want to find some dogs to walk during my time off rather than sit in my hotel .. I’m not taking dogs to board at this moment. I’m looking to just walk dogs or do a drop in visit as needed throughout the day.

About: I’ve owned animals since I was 10 and have cared for friends animals while they have been on travel. My animals are my family and are treated as such. I recently retired early and have time to spend at home with animals. Lots of land for exercise and all pets stay inside with me. I live on six acres with two dogs, two mini donkeys, a goat and a horse. The entire property is fenced with a barn and shelter for large animals.

About: My family has had many kinds of pets since I was a kid. We often took in injured animals and nursed them back to health. We got a Chihuahua when I was 15, I'm now 30 and she recently passed away. Her name is Teka and she was my baby. We had her for 15 years. I own my own business so I can work literally whenever I want. My schedule is completely malleable. I can easily shape my work schedule around anything. Also please note if you hire me for house sitting, my beloved will go with me, she is exceptionally gifted with animals. I can take your dog out literally any time, and for any length of time. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I also have plenty of cuddles.

About: I have lived my entire life alongside dogs and have cared for dogs through each stage of dog life: newborns and post-partum moms, puppies, pregnant dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. When caring for pets in my home, I typically take dogs out for shorter stints multiple times a day (every 2-4 hours) to exercise and go potty, since I have a private yard and work from home. For pets in a client’s home, I typically take dogs out for longer periods of time less frequently (as appropriate for age and activity-level). I also offer add-on pet services, including teeth-brushing and bathing/brushing.

I've worked and have taken care of all types of animals including dogs, cats, birds, small animals, fish, reptiles, amphibians and many more. I also have veterinary experience.
