About: I have 3 dogs of my own and I have always been an animal lover. I also love to exercise so dog walking is perfect for me. I have trained my dogs to understand their basic commands and they have excelled. I also am a volunteer at the animal shelter so I have worked with all kinds of dogs throughout different ages. I work from 9-4 Monday-Friday which would allow for me to do the later shifts when walking or watching a dog. On the Weekends I am available all day usually because that is my time off from my Daycare Job. When caring for dogs in a client’s home, my top priority is ensuring their safety and comfort within a familiar, stress-free environment. I follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walk schedules, and preferred play or rest habits, to maintain consistency and reduce anxiety. I take the time to understand the layout of the home and make sure any potentially hazardous items—like loose wires, open trash bins, or accessible medications—are safely out of reach. I always double-check that doors, gates, and fences are secure before and after outdoor time. When walking, I use only the client-approved leashes, harnesses, or other safety gear and avoid unfamiliar or overly busy areas unless instructed otherwise. I also keep a close eye on the dog’s behavior and body language to quickly catch signs of stress or discomfort. Clear communication with the owner is essential—I provide regular updates and follow all instructions carefully, including dietary needs and any medications. My goal is to ensure every dog feels safe, secure, and loved in the comfort of their own home.

About: I love pets! I work in pet care at an veterinary hospital and have training and experience taking care of pets and supervising large playgroups of dogs. I’ve completed courses on dog body language, dog safety, dog health, and dog behavior. I work with all sizes and sorts of dogs (puppies, adults, seniors, etc). I understand how important your pets are to you and understand that every pet is different! I currently work part-time, so I am flexible around my work schedule. I would love to help make your pet’s day better in any way that I can! I have training and experience working in pet care settings. I understand how important your pets are to you and like to know as many instructions about your pet as possible to provide a safe environment for them!

“Communicating with Jamie went smoothly—she was incredibly patient and kind with Matilda's shyness and her helicopter pawrents. We appreciate her taking such good care of our pup🤍”

About: I'm Jonathan (though I mainly go by Jack). For years, I've been providing top-quality pet care in the New York area. I put in the time to get to know your pet's unique needs. I take my responsibility to care for your animal very seriously and will do whatever it takes to help them (and you!) feel safe and happy. Trust me to be there for your beloved pet when you can't be! My schedule is currently very flexible. I'm available for daytime drop-ins, walks, feeding, etc. for dogs and cats. Very open for overnight stays, though I may need to go visit other clients. I can't take pets at my home, but I'm willing to do whatever it takes to care for your pet at yours. I do a quick "get to know you" session before agreeing to a new client, so that I can meet you and your animal, get acquainted with your home, ask important questions about your and your pet's needs, and make sure that I understand exactly how to give your pet the highest level of care!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10, from energetic puppies to wise seniors needing daily medication. Friends, and family have relied on me for everything from walks and meals to crisis response. I once picked up a dog over 50 miles away at night when a friend’s pup needed emergency care, and I was glad to do it! I’ve also handled homes with multiple pets, caring for three dogs and four cats at once. I understand canine energy, needs, and emotions, and I bring patience, playfulness, and reliability to every visit. I currently work a flexible part-time freelance job, which means I create my own schedule. While I tend to be busier after 4pm, mornings and daytime hours are usually wide open for pet care. This makes it easy for me to provide attentive walks, playtime, feedings, and check-ins when your pets need it most. When visiting your home, I make sure your pets feel safe, seen, and loved. I respect your space and your routines, ensuring feedings, medications, walks, and play happen just the way your pets are used to. I always double- check doors, gates, and leashes, and make sure your pets are happy and comfortable before I leave. Your animal’s well-being is my top priority.

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life. I have been responsibly taking care of my dogs and cats on a daily basis. I have experience with a variety of dogs at all different ages. I’m also familiar with dogs who need special accommodations for medical conditions. I wholeheartedly love animals and would provide the utmost care to your pets that I would want for my own from a sitter. My schedule changes week to week, but generally I can be available in the morning, afternoon or evenings. Feel free to message about dates you need someone to care for your pet! I have plenty of experience dealing with animals and would want to create a safe environment for them. I would ensure that your pet is happy and cared for to the highest extent of the service. I’m happy to stick around to give your pets extra attention as well!
