About: I have cared for several work friend's pets, including someone who had 7 medium-large dogs with a laundry list of special accommodations and medications needed I am an Army Veteran going to college, this leaves my afternoons and weekends completely free. I can alter the rest of my schedule to accommodate your pet I have a dog and cat of my own, so I have experience with the difference in the needs and behaviors of the two most common household pets. I care for their physical as well as their mental health to the best of my ability. I strive to care for all animals the same way.

About: I have previously worked with Flying Fur, a doggy daycare and boarding service located in Newport, VA. Here, I gained experience working with various breeds and temperaments, and I would be happy to help you with your animal while you are away. In high school, I took small animal care as well as vet science, and have interacted with several of the therapy dogs on Radford University Campus. I am currently a college student working part-time, and I’d love to help care for your pet on my free time!! I am free weekly in the mornings and evenings! Can’t wait to meet your pets! During the walks, I allow the dogs to go at their own pace to get a sense of security with me and I love to reward them if they are doing good!

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I've taken care of cats all my life and dogs from time to time. From back when I was a teen at home with our family cat to my own Tuxedo Kiwi I've been caring for cats all my life. I have a deep understanding of cat body language, respecting their boundaries, and providing the attention and care they need. I work from home as a software developer and am looking for something to break up my day between calls and project tasks. Being a remote worker means I don't get much excitement day to day. Let me change up my day to day by helping you out with your pets! I live in my own home with plenty of space for walks, trails nearby for exploring, and an open and clean home for time away from the sun.

My job is to make sure your babies are as comfortable as possible, and ensure you a solid peace of mind while you’re away from them. I will treat your fur babies as if they were my own! I currently work from home, and my schedule is pretty open, though I do travel between Columbia, SC and Roanoke, VA often for the time being. If interested in booking, at least 4 days of notice would be wonderful! Inside of your home, I will care for your pet the same way you would if you were home. I will follow specific instructions tailored to your pet, including feeding times, walks, medications, rules in the home, etc. I love going on walks, and stopping by for potty breaks as well, and will tailor the experience to your pet and what they need.

About: I have over a decade of experience caring for a wide arrange of dog temperaments: particularly active, aging, dog reactive, and sick animals. Am ready and able to take care of dogs with variety of and needs! I’m currently working full time in Blacksburg from 8:30-4:00, but am available every night after then and weekends! If nearby, I can also carve out 30 minutes to care for your animal during my lunch breaks and in the mornings. I am free to work around 14 hours a week, approximately 2 hours on weekdays and more as needed! I provide compassionate, loving care to animals. I am detail oriented and follow instruction well, and am willing to adjust my schedule and routines in order to suit your pet’s needs. About: Hey there! I absolutely adore all animals and have a fur baby of my own - a 7 year old Havanese dog named Teddy who’s my best friend and adventure buddy! He also happens to be a very anxious dog with separation anxiety, so I understand just how important it can be to have someone that is able to check in on your pets while you’re away. I have a car and a very flexible schedule, so I am able to check in your pets throughout the day and provide food, walks, or exercise/play breaks whenever needed! I also have experience administering medication and caring for older cats through my time fostering for local animal shelters. About: I owned a beautiful 7 year old St. Bernard and although he was stubborn he taught me a lot. I am able to control and establish a barrier of trust between us to ensure my safety, his and the safety of those around us because let's be honest he is a big boy (180 lbs to be exact). Taking care of such a big boy, ensures me that I will be able to take care of your fur baby, no matter the size, or temperament. I have cared for many other dogs and house sat a few with behavioral problems as well. I am currently working part time, however my schedule is not exact, so as long as you reach out I will most likely be able to accommodate you and your furry friend. I have a front yard and a large crate meant for any size if necessary. I live in a townhome and can take your dog for as many or as little walks as they need.

About: I have taken care of dogs in my neighborhood as well as friends animals all my life. Walking, feeding and caring for them comes natural to me. I am a substitute teacher so I have plenty of time to devote in the summer and have many days off in the other seasons. Able to follow detailed instructions for caring for pets. I have a senior diabetic dog right now so although I can’t have other animals in my home I love to take care of animals where they live and are comfortable.

About: I'm that person where if you mention you have a dog, I want to meet them! I've been dogsitting since I can remember. With my current job, if my coworkers need a dogsitter, I'm there. They rely on me to walk, feed, and care for their pups as if it was my own. I currently work a job where I only work 3-4 days a week and have every weekend off. I'm unavailable on the days I work due to 12 hour shifts, but on my off days I'm available whenever! :) I have a friendly golden retriever pup who can give your furry friend company. I also have a crate upon your request and lots of toys!!

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I also currently work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center, so caring for animals is a daily thing for me while also caring for my own. The biggest dog I have experience with is a Great Dane while the smallest is a Yorkshire Terrier. I currently work at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center part-time, so Rover will be more of a secondary income for me. I work with dogs, cats, and rabbits daily but also have experience with pets including hamsters and fish. My dogs are let outside at least 6 times a day. Those times definitely being morning, noon, evening, and night and some times in between. They are crated while I’m not home but while I am with them they freely roam. They even sleep with me.

In your home : I will gladly take any notes on your furbabys normal routine, and things they enjoy extra specially...like hugs,brushes, and scratches , belly rubs, playtime with toys or fetching the ball, . In My Home: They will have two acres of flat mowed grass to run or play ball or nice walks , great sun to bath in or shade if needed, plenty of things to smell and explore . Treats that are packed by you for them with instructions on limits...2 feeding times (food packed by you, )plenty of water
