So, thank you for your interest in our dog boarding services. As we live in Hagerstown, we offer free shuttle service for our clients along the I-270 corridor—Bethesda, North Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Urbana, and Frederick. Our clients are very welcomed to pick-up and drop-off at our home if their plans take them through Hagerstown. We're excited to be in our sixth year with Rover! During this time, we developed wonderful and continuing relationships with many of our repeat guests and their parents. Many of our guests seem to develop friendships among themselves as they often encounter one another at the Lounge. Plus, our teenager has a very light after school/summer activities and sports schedule. Together, we are committed to care for our guests just as if they were members of our own family. This includes taking your pooch with us when we need to be away from our home, if that is acceptable to you. We’ll send lots of messages with pics and clips that keep you in touch. And you can call us anytime through our Rover phone number if you ever need to discuss a particular matter. We have a spare room with open beds, large crates, and collapsible kennels are available if required/requested. Please remember to pack your dog’s favorite food, treats, toys, blanket, etc., to make their stay more comfortable. We provide the dog beds, bowls, and potty pads and bags, so there's no need for you to worry about any of that.

About: **please note I have a day job that takes me away from my house M-F from 5:30am until 4:15pm…all boarded pets will be let out to potty immediately upon returning home ** I have been taken care of dogs for over 15 years. My first dog 2 when I adopted him and I cared for him until he crossed over the rainbow bridge when he passed at 10yrs old. I also raised two puppies from 8 weeks until they crossed over as well. I work full time away from home Monday thru Friday, so your pet would be alone for about 8hrs week days. I will make sure they are let out before I leave and let out again immediately once I return home. I am able to walk dogs / check in on family pets after 4:30pm on week days. I have a deck and a 6ft tall fenced in yard. I do not have small children in my home. I also do not have any other pets that may not get along with another dog. I will always care for your pet as if it were my own.

About: My background includes fostering for the local SPCA, volunteering at a horse rescue/therapeutic riding lessons and supporting my senior citizens by helping care for their beloved pets. Whether it daily care, companionship, or special attention for senior pets. I am dedicated to providing reliable, gentle care that gives pet owners peace of mind and keeps their pets happy, comfortable and well care for. I currently work full-time. My routine with pet care during the week while working is walking at least twice a day with lots of cuddles and talks before leaving, make sure house is secure and safe and puppies are crated, special room or outside depending on safety/weather. Left with toys and/stress relievers. After work, potty, fetch, catch and walks. They depending on weather playtime until bedtime. Non working days, Walks are the same plus plan social play time or easy hike walk, or water play etc. Anxious days usual comes with lots of attention. Hyper days lots of fetch, catch and brain games. Even spa days of bath and brushing. Fresh water throughout the day and follow feeding schedules plus meds if needed. Illness or injury call parents and/or vet with permission transport to location that needed regular vet or emergency vet Safety and less stress is best for all. Safety checks and walk throughs house and yard daily. Monitor pets and be aware of their whereabouts. Check fur and skins at least once a day depending on season and living area. Follow schedule and requirements of the family. Communicate to family on daily basis and share pictures.

“Matt is AMAZING! My two french bulldogs can be a HANDFUL! I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anyone who would want to watch them because my younger frenchie has a tendency to be quite nasty to my older boy & he also has a need to constantly establish dominance with ANYONE who comes to my house, but Matt was up for the challenge! I did not have to worry once the entire weekend! He was in constant communication with me, updating me on their behavior and even sent me pictures. I cleaned my house before leaving for vacation and was worried that when I returned it would be a mess because of the dogs- they act like feral frenchies & will sprint inside with dirt all over their paws and jump on the couch and on my white rugs- they just dgaf-(like most frenchies though, right?) But to my surprise my house was spotless- if Matt was able to watch Loki & Diesel without any problems - then I can assure you- he will have no problem looking after your 4 legged baby/babies! If I could give 10 stars I would! Thank you for everything Matt! You are the best!”

About: On Mondays and Tuesdays I am off work Any other day I’m free until 1230 for walks I work from 2-10 Wednesday through Sunday I treat every animal as if it were my own Either letting a cat sit on my lap until I can’t feel my legs Or training in basic commands and manners To throwing a ball or stick until my arm is numb I love animals and all the fun that goes with it ** I did have to raise my rates due to rovers fee** I have been taking care of animals since I was little but really got into it around 7th and 8th grade Walking peoples dogs and putting up flyers at my local pool I have many repeat clients for over 3 years so many great pups(had to stop because of highschool) I helped a lot of them loose weight from daily 20-30 minute walks I still remember every dog I walked and boarded Nothing has changed except now I work morning shift as a security guard but my wife is home to take care of any dogs kept with us After I’m done with work I then take over with walks and playing in the backyard Everyone will get plenty of water If anyone gets dirty then it’s bath time or at least a good thorough wipe down Your pets will be treated like my own kids while they are being taken care of with the Diamond family After I’m done with work at 2pm I come home and spend all the time I have until bed time with my animals or as I call them my kids Walking playing in the backyard playing fetch and tag and even keep away which never lasts long for me I have a fenced in yard and plenty of toys to offer When it’s very hot we do some playing in the yard and then it’s time for a walk and then we take a 45 minute to an hour break for a nap or rest and then we do it all over again All animals should feel welcome in my home and spoiled decently as my animals are All animals that stay with me must have a collapsible crate brought in with them so that nobody gets into anything they shouldn’t at night Night time is crate time as we have cats we let wander at night
