About: I’ve had dogs throughout my entire life, but currently I have a 7 year old golden retriever I treat like my child! I’ve always trained all of my dogs myself and participated in many safety training classes regarding training. I am currently in graduate school and unemployed, so mostly it’s just me and my golden at home most days, so I have plenty of spare time to help in your pet’s care! I am open to boarding and house sitting, but also happy to do drop-ins or just walks! I have a big fenced in yard and a sweet golden who loves making new friends to keep your pup company! I have plenty of room to crate your dog if needed.

About: I have ten years of experience caring for animals in shelters, as well as walking and caring for them locally (e.g. Austrian Animal Welfare Association; Austin Animal Shelter). I want the pets to always feel comfortable, that they have enough exercise and cuddles. I want your pet to be well and safe in your absence. About: I’ve taken care of animals for around 3 years now. 2 years being with family and friends relying on me to watch, feed, and walk their animals. Pets need routines just as much as humans do for a sense of calm and safety. To continue to keep your (our) fur baby safe I will keep trash cans covered or inside a latched cabinet. Move all chemicals to high shelves or behind secure doors. Keep cords, chargers, and other potentially harmful items out of reach.

I have bottle fed different types of animals from your typical kitten to your special recused baby bat. I’ve spent the most time with American and European bloodline Great Danes — a breed I absolutely adore, though I love all dogs deeply. In 2022, I worked for a professional dog care business, where I was responsible for four European Great Danes daily — all in the same home. I walked each dog three times a day, fed them individually twice a day, and made sure they had plenty of playtime and enrichment outside of their crates. I also assisted with the birth of a litter of puppies, helping weigh them, check their temperatures, and feed them a blended diet as they grew. If allowed, I also work on basic training using treats. I make sure your pup gets plenty of playtime, cuddles, and affection throughout the day. I usually let dogs roam freely, but at bedtime they’ll sleep in my room so I can keep a close, loving eye on them through the night. 🐾

Large dogs will be on a case by case basis. My schedule is pretty open at the moment! I am extremely flexible with time. If anything changes in my schedule I will notify you.
