After that initial meeting, my husband and I both felt very comfortable and confident with her coming to stay and take care of things while we were gone. The day we were supposed to leave, we ran into some issues but MacKenzie was flexible and fast to communicate. She was very punctual and sent brief updates/questions throughout the week (she has our preference on communication and we had told her we didn't need regular check ins or updates). When we got home, we could tell our dogs and cats had missed us, but it was also clear that they had been well taken care of. About: Hello! My name is Alyssa and I am a 20 year old college student remotely studying Psychology and Criminal Justice. I’ve had dogs and a cat since I was young and was always held accountable to take care of them! I took a Veterinary Science class in High School and dealt with animals on a daily during this course (Bunnies and Puppies.) I have recently owned hamsters and fish as well that were 100% my responsibility. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have 4 years of paid experience with pet sitting for neighbors. About: Just a runner training to make the Olympics. I run full time which is fun but doesn’t pay the bills yet. I work and train while coaching on the side. I live in Ballard and have transportation so getting around and taking care of pets isn’t an issue! Love working with all types of animals. House sitting is always fun. I have been house sitting since I was 14 and get asked every so often to fill in and watch the pets while keeping the house clean. Willing to do anything to accommodate and make things as easy as possible for owners! Can’t wait to get started! I’m currently working full time hours, but I have flexibility in my schedule to accommodate most pets needs to be fed, walked, or played with I tend to ask questions about what the pets are allowed to do in home so that way I’m not breaking any rules or teaching unwanted habits.

About: Over the years I have had several cats. They have their own unique personalities and are very loving. My last cat I lost due to cancer, Sam was loved and still miss him greeting me at the door. I feel strongly that if you don’t treat your animals as family you shouldn’t have them. Animals love unconditionally which makes them very special. unconditionally which makes them very special. I am retired which allows me time to be flexible within your needs for your pet/pets. I am available everyday except Saturday the exception would be if I am taking care of your pet for the week I will include Saturday as well. I will take care of your pet as I would my own. I will give your pet the attention beyond what is needed. I know your pet will miss his/her master however I will ease this by playing with them, petting and reassuring their safety and make sure they eat. Your instruction will be followed completely. I will communicate after each visit so you will have peace of mind.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 7 years old and professionally since I was 18 years old. I love ALL animals. I have experience with the following animals: Bearded Dragons, Cats, Dogs, Ferrets, Rabbits, Fish, Hamsters, and Birds. I know how to administer shots and give medications orally to Cats, Dogs, and Ferrets. I believe that pets aren't pets - they are family. I live in a house with my husband, 4 month old baby, and 2 kitties. I work a 9-5 full time job but can take breaks to help with walks, potty breaks, and feedings. About: In addition to having family pets since before I could walk, I started a neighborhood pet sitting business with my sister when I was 10, I worked for a pet sitting/dog walking company out of college, and have cared for more friends and neighbors’ pets than I could count.
