They loved her and were comfortable with Kara right from the start. Kara is friendly, tenderhearted and affectionate, so no wonder they loved her! She was wonderfully responsible in everything. We really look forward to having Kara care for our furbabies again and again!”

About: I grew up on retired farm land, so I gained lots of experience raising and training several dog breeds, all sizes and ages. We rescued and fostered several dogs, cats, and rabbits over the years. As an adult I started fostering dogs and rabbits myself. Until recently, I was fostering primarily dogs. I have 2 shepheards and 2 pitbulls permanently placed in my home, as well as a dwarf rabbit. 2 of my dogs are trained and registered as service animals. I have a very adaptable home with lots of indoor/outdoor play space, as well as space to be separated as needed. I are very particular about keeping our food and water bowls clean with washing every day. I am happy to love you fur babies! There is rarely ever a time my pets are home alone. They all free roam and coexist peacfully, so I have a very calm house usually. We have a go out/walking schedule we follow to ensure proper exercise, as well as a secure feeding routine. My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

About: With years of pet care experience, I provide safe, reliable and loving attention so that your pet feels comfortable and loved in a calm environment. I am flexible and available on weekends for boarding your pets. I can do drop ins, walks, and boarding. Anytime is fine for your pets. I am very reliable and committed to treating your pets like family whether in my home or your home by creating a calm comfortable space.

“This was the first time Lydia watched my 3 pups. She is very nice and I felt comfortable at the meet and greet. I knew she would take great care of them. She gave updates and assured me they were fine. My female dog was struggling when I first left , Lydia gave her extra love. Now that I am home, I think my Bailey is missing Lydia. I will definitely reach out to her in the future.”

About: I’ve recently been taking care of a family friends pets. I’ve fallen in love with taking them on walks and doing tricks with them. I’ve been learning a lot about myself through taking care of them, they’ve taught me a lot about patience. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to spend quality time with Tank and Vader! (pictured below) Every morning I take them for a walk at Fork Branch Nature Reserve after I feed them. I get so much joy seeing them excited to explore out in nature. They are learning to trust me and it’s been a rewarding experience. My first clients ever were Tank and Vaders parents. They were out of town for about a month so they gave me keys. I’d let myself in around 8am. Feed them and take them on our morning walk. From there I’d get them around 2pm to potty. Feed them again at 5:30pm and we’d do one last walk later in the night. I’m pretty flexible. Just let me know the schedule you want to keep and I’ll make it happen.

“Shatera was AMAZING with my pup, Tucker! She house say for us while we went on vacation. She offered to do a merry and greet at our house before the stay to meet him and see the house. This was super helpful as our dog is very dog selective and it was the first time we had left him with someone he didn’t know. I was so incredibly nervous prior to meeting her as Tucker can be a lot to handle, especially for a stranger. But as soon as we met her, we knew we were leaving him in good hands! She sent pictures and videos of their adventures and gave updates throughout the stay. She was very communicative and followed directions thoroughly. The best part? Tucker loved her and her family!
