Each dog has their own personality and quirks, and she took the time to get to know each one and ask questions ahead of time, and specifically asked for written instructions and other info to be left in the home - the sign of an experienced dog sitter! She sent candid pics of them along with updates and I never worried that my pups weren’t happy and living their typical best lives. When I arrived back home, they were happy to see me but wasted no time running outside to play…they showed zero signs of anxiety and didn’t even seem to miss me all that much! Elizabeth clearly took great care of them and showed them all the affection they’re accustomed to getting! Great communication throughout the entire process, from the initial interview until I arrived home from my trip. Excellent all around, and I’m tough to impress!”

About: As a dedicated pet parent to three dogs—two Chihuahuas and a lovable Lab mix—caring for animals is not just a passion, it’s a way of life. One of my pups is a senior who requires extra time, patience, and attention, giving me extensive experience with older dogs and their unique needs. On the other end of the spectrum, I’ve also worked closely with high-energy puppies, so I’m confident in handling all ages and temperaments. I’m extremely detail-oriented and committed to giving your pet the same level of love, care, and attention I give my own. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and right at home in my space. With a large, fenced-in backyard for playtime and plenty of cuddles to go around, your furry family member will be in great hands. I currently have a fulltime job that I am at 8-6 Monday through Friday. I have an hour lunch break each day where I go home and let the dogs use the bathroom. Once I am home from work for the day, I am very present with my animals. We often play fetch in the backyard, go on walks around the neighborhood or occasionally walk to the river. I would be available anytime Saturday and Sundays, and after 6 Monday-Friday. I would be available for drop ins or walks during the week in the afternoon hours! I can provide house sitting or pet sitting along with drops ins and walks at any time on the weekends! I have a large, 4 foot tall fenced in back yard which the dogs are able to access directly from inside. If requested, I will gladly crate your dog overnight or while I am not home. We allow animals on the couches as well as beds, so sleeping with humans would be no problem! I can be very accommodating, if you have any special requests, I'm more than happy to honor those! Given my experience with senior dogs, I am comfortable administering medication if needed!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I can remember I have such a soft spot for animals especially pups. My family has always had lots of dogs through the years we currently have 6. I have always enjoyed taking care of my family and neighbors dogs. I’m currently working part time which means I will have lots of free time to take care of your pups. About: I have been pet sitting for families for over 10 years. Families have asked me to feed, bathe, walk, give medication and play with their animals. I grew up having dogs, cats and fish, so I feel very comfortable taking care of them. I very often stayed at people’s homes while taking care of their animals. I have also been a families dog walker. I am currently a full time nanny. I am free early in the mornings before 8/9 and after I get off work around 5. Completely free on weekends. About: I’ve taken of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up around farm animals as well as household, we always had dogs growing up and I currently have 2 dogs , one very energetic and the other is a couch potato, just added a kitten to the mix as well. I love all animals as if they are my own. Would love to make pet care a full time endeavor so I am completely open for whatever is needed. Also understand peoples schedules change so I am flexible with what you need I have a little fenced in back yard , along with 2 dogs and 1 cat. Also willing to crate if your pet is crate trained. I am all about the comfortably if the client but also the animals.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat of my own that I love to death. I also have experience with special needs dogs such as ones with epilepsy. I also currently help at critter cuts letting dogs and/or cats out and taking care of them at nighttime and when they are closed to the public. I currently work part time at my other job and have plenty of time to tend to other animals and still be a mom and fur mom. Will stay outside with the fur babies rain or shine to make sure they stay safe and pay attention to everything they may do. If special needs then I also look at for any warning signs of trouble so that the issue can be immediately addressed

About: I've had a wide array of pets my entire life - dogs, birds, bunnies, hamsters and cats. I'm extremely understanding of their needs, while gentle and fun. My whole life i've made myself knowledgeable about animals, and continue to educate myself about different types of animals/dog breeds. Their traits and strong senses are fascinating. I'm always thinking about the wants of each type of breed. And, I have a private garden for my apartment, for private, safe and healthy dog-walking. My communication is excellent, and I will send fun photos of your pet while on the job, reminding you they are in safe and fun hands! I'm extremely punctual, organized and responsible - for every dog walking schedule and short-term boarding I will be there for your pet(s).

About: Living in the OBX, Willing to travel, see new places! I want to help care for your dog in your home because I believe pets are happiest in their home setting. I never boarded my dog, always traveled with him or had a family member stay. I'm excited to meet all your fur family and see some new places. If you live near trails, i particularly enjoy a hiking dog. I will travel for overnight care up to a few hours. I also visit NH regularly. Im working on something personal right now which allows me the flexibility to travel and dog sit. I prefer the beach, mountains, lakes, quiet over cities. I'm a kiteboarder and hiker, so i'm partial to areas I can explore with these activities. I always follow the household schedule and your pets preferences. During my time in your home, I will leave it generally cleaner than I found it. I'm comfortable traveling to dog parks, trails etc with a dog or two in my car.. I'm happy to keep your plants happy, enjoying a green thumb.
