I’ve incorporated daily and weekly pet care into my routine by setting aside specific times for feeding, grooming, play, and walks. It’s become a natural part of my schedule, and I enjoy the structure it brings to my day. Taking care of my pets is rewarding, and it helps me stay mindful of balancing responsibilities with quality time. I will come back to this. About: I have had dogs since for my entire life, so I have cared for all ages of dogs from puppies to seniors. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, spending time cuddling with senior dogs, and playing with puppies! I am currently a full time student at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I have a few hours during the weekdays for potty breaks and feeding, and I am available on the weekends. I am willing to pet sit overnight in your home on weeknights, as well as weekends. My apartment is not pet-friendly, so I am not allowed to bring your pets to me, but I will drive to your home to care for your pets there. I will ensure to keep your pets safe, active, and content while you are away.

About: I grew up on a farm and have been loving pets for years! I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, parakeets, snakes, ducks, and chickens. I am easy going and flexible. I’m an educator, so my summer is free to take care of your pet! I have a vehicle, as well as a mini golden doodle who loves to play with other dogs. I am able to come to your home with my car, and I love going on walks anywhere. I play with cats and dogs with toys, and I make sure to talk to them and give them snuggles.

About: I have owned many dogs in my life time. I can deal with dogs who don’t do well on a leash as well as senior dogs. I am located in Iowa City I am starting a new job in the beginning of July so in the meantime I’m free every day for drop in visits or boarding. Once my job starts I will only be free Friday-Sunday I live in a safe apartment complex with a pad lock on the front door so your pet will be safe. Experience with many types of dogs.

About: I grew up with a fur baby, pet sitting and walking for my neighbors, and helped train my parents two new mini bernedoodles! 🐾 Pets have always had a special place in my heart and I love to show them love! I am a nurse that works three days a week, mostly consisting of nights and weekends! About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

About: I have grown up living with 2+ large dogs in the house always. I am a huge dog lover and love animals in general. Recently I have also become a cat owner. I’m currently a full-time student and part-time employee in a management position. I am looking to get a little more income and broaden my experience with pet care. I will not provide in home pet care. I will instead be able to come to clients homes to care for their pets. Thank you!

About: I have my own dog at home who I have grown up with. I have also grown up taking care of neighborhood dogs and my uncles dogs who I have taken care of since they were puppies. I have also taken care of many of my neighbors cats and other various pets. I am currently a full time student technically but I have a lot of open times that I would love to come hang out with some pets who just need some extra loving or taking care of. This also helps me have a break from life and focus on just spending quality time with some pets who are fun to be around. I always put the pet first. I make sure I remember times I went over or left and how long I have stayed at a residence so they have enough time outside of kennels or for play time. I want the pets to feel like they can be calm and chill or be crazy and I’ll play with them or walk them when they just need some energy out.
