“This was the first time I had ever used Rover for petsitting. To say I was nervous is an understatement because my two dogs are my kiddos and I love them so much. I wanted to use this service so they could stay at home where they are the most comfortable. Clint and Leah were the perfect choice for me because they were willing to stay at my house and gave both of my dogs lots of attention. One of my dogs is older and pretty cranky and she takes a long time to warm up to new people. I was shocked when she warmed up to them right away. Clint and Leah are excellent communicators which is very important to me. As things came up while I was gone, they were great about letting me know right away and giving detailed updates. One of my dogs is very scared of fireworks and my trip was over New Years and there were loud noises that scared my dog. They were great about not only keeping me updated, but also showed a picture of my dog sitting on the couch with them which normally doesn’t happen easily with new people. I highly recommend these two and am definitely hoping to use them again in the future.”

About: I have plenty of hands-on cat and dog care experience. Last year, I lived with a sweet cat and a high-energy golden retriever, and often cared for them while my roommate was away for clinicals. I handled their daily care, playtime, and attention, so I know how to keep pets happy, healthy, and well-loved. I’m in my final year of pharmacy school and currently have a break before my next clinical rotation. That means I’m free all day during the week and most weekends until October, giving me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your pet and keep them happy, active, and loved. I don’t currently have a home with a yard suitable for a pet, as I’ll be moving around for school this year. That’s actually why I love helping care for other people’s animals! I focus on giving pets attention, playtime, and companionship, and I’m happy to follow their routines closely, whether it’s feeding or walks. Living with a golden retriever with high separation anxiety taught me a lot about the importance of just being present and sticking to the routine established by the owner.

About: I, Carter and my mother Mindy, have been pet owners our entire lives. We have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs. Along with experience in administering certain types of medications, and our house is blind dog friendly thanks to indoor gates and a fenced in and safe backyard. We’ve recently lost our last dog and don’t plan to get another animal companion, but we love to help people care for their furry companions temporarily as a way to give back to the same people who did such for us when we were pet owners. Mindy works from home and loves to work outside in her garden, which would mean a lot of outside time for your pet in our fenced in backyard. Carter is around more in the mornings and nights meaning if your animal is a “night owl” they shall still be cared for round the clock. We have a designated area for food and water in our house, along with many toys and bones from throughout the years. We are in a very safe neighborhood with a fenced in backyard and lots of room to run. Any animals living with us will always be treated with kindness and a sense of belonging no matter the duration of their stay!

Making tails wag and pets feel safe is truly my passion! I’m currently available on weekends, which means I can dedicate lots of quality time to caring for and playing with your fur baby! Now that I’ve finished college, I also have plenty of free time—perfect for early morning potty breaks, training sessions, fun play routines, and even overnight visits with attentive monitoring and late-night potty runs. Your pet’s comfort and routine are my top priority! I have spare crates available and two sweet pups of my own who love making new friends! With plenty of toys and regular trips to public parks, your fur baby will have lots of enrichment and playtime. My apartment even has a doggy-gated play area where your pup can run around safely and freely! For added peace of mind, I’m fully prepared for emergencies—I can crate when necessary, and I use doggy seat belts for safe car rides. I’m also CPR-certified and have hands-on experience with syringe-feeding medications if needed. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority!

About: I’ve taken care of one shitzu and terrier mix and one German shepherd which are my uncle’s pets as he is most of the time on a work trip. I would looked after them on weekends and holidays. I’m used to feeding them, taking a walk and potty breaks and giving them a bath. Right now, I’m on summer break and I am not looking for a part time job or anything so I have lots of free time to look after your puppies! I don’t have any pets at my home but I’m confident that I can keep them safe and comfortable in my home! I’ll make sure to be tailored to any specific requirements or needs of each pet!
