About: Growing up, my family has never not had a dog. I come from a family of dog lovers! I have experience with Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I’ve always had a passion for animals and volunteer my time as a board member of Montana Pittie Project. My dog is my child and I will treat yours like it’s my baby as well! I also have experience taking care of special needs dogs, my dog that passed the rainbow bridge in August of 2022 was special needs himself. I have fostered multiple dogs while working in rescue and have experience with many different dog personalities and needs. I love sending photo updates to keep your mind at ease while you’re away. Feel free to ask me any questions! I work full time as a self employed hairstylist. With a flexible schedule I am able to take a break every day and hang out with my dog during the week. In the evenings I take Stella to a park nearby my house or we go on a walk around the neighborhood. I do have a fenced in yard. My current pup is kennel trained and it’s her safe space, if I work for a longer period than usual I have my own pet nanny or family checks in on my dog if I will be gone for too long. She is never along for more than 4-5 hours at a time. She eats in the morning and in the evening, I do not free feed. Stella has way more toys than any dog could need, and likes watching tv so I leave a nature show on for her when I leave the house. She’s a good girl.
About: I’ve grown up having 3 dogs my entire life, as well as cats. Since I was 16, I’ve been housesitting for my aunt for at least a week out of every year. Which requires taking care of 5 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, mice, sugar gliders, a parakeet, fish, and turtles. 2 of the dogs required medication multiple times a day so I have experience with that as well. I currently work every 3rd day, which leaves 5 days out of the week completely available to come by and walk your dog or stop in and feed animals. I have experience walking dogs on leashes as well as if I stop by and let them go potty I have no issue picking up after dogs as well. I will make sure they’re fed and safely put up if need be before leaving. I will also be sure to send plenty of pictures and updates!
About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was a kid. I have tended to a total of six beloved family dogs from around age 7 to 19 when I moved. Some of my regular care for them included providing fresh food and water, regular potty breaks, going outside, playing, and brushing their coats. I have also administered some medication such as vet prescribed pills, sprays, or ear drops when needed. I helped to train them on basic commands and leash training. I am used to recognizing dog body language, following care instructions tailored to each pet, and sticking to a schedule. Since I am currently in-between jobs, my schedule is very flexible. I am most often available to provide pet care anytime on any day! I can also work for extended periods of time. Typically, my care for pets includes providing fresh food and water, playing, pets, and regular potty breaks. However, different pets have different needs and I am able to provide the care that suits your unique pet!
About: I love animals and care about them more than anyone! I have had pets my whole life and I have become very good at reading dog body language as I have had moderately aggressive dogs in the past. Over the summer I was a nanny in charge of 2 young children, 2 large dogs and 1 cat. In the past I have been in charge of dispensing oral medication to multiple dogs on multiple different jobs, as well as walking dogs and playing with them and basic things of that nature. I am also good with cats and care deeply for them as well! I am currently a full time student but my schedule is fairly open! I would be available constantly after 4:30 every day and am able to check in multiple times prior to that throughout the day. I am usually free on the weekends as well as weeknights. I am comfortable walking dogs on a leash or I am happy to watch them while they play if there is a fenced in yard! I also am happy to follow whatever feeding schedule the animals are used to and I would obviously always make sure their water bowls are full! Every dog is a little different but I am usually very good at being to tell when a dog has to go outside or I will learn to recognize the signs very quickly! I would also just let them outside whenever they wake up from a nap or anything like that.
“Kami did a great job taking care of my older tuxedo cat Jordan! She was very kind and provided updates and photos for every visit. The drop-in visits were only thirty minutes but I could tell the attention to detail and care that went in to her visit. Kami, followed feeding instructions to the "T" and did well to maintain a clean litter pan area, especially due to my cat's tendency to have accidents outside of his designated bathroom area. Kami even took out the trash, so when I arrived home there was no unwelcoming smells. My experience with Kami was fantastic, and I'm sure Jordan appreciated her efforts as well. About: I’m a 25 year old pet sitter. im a full time dental assistant and part time dog sitter! Im a pet owner, I’ve grew up with pets my entire life. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, goats. I love to care for animals/ people who can’t take care/speak for themselves😇 I’m a full time dental assistant who works 8-5 during the week days. I am available on weekends at ANY TIME for boarding, house sitting or drop-in visits. And during the week I am also available any time after 5pm! For any pet they need to be fed, bathed, time to play, let outside to potty and just be a nice companion to them everyday. I’m a pet owner myself so I already do the everyday chores/ needs that are needed for care. It’s been a lifelong routine of mine that I’m accustomed to.
About: I have had dogs as a family pet since 2008. Currently have 2 dogs who are very loved and spoiled to death 😊 I started off dog sitting for a family member in 2019 with a senior dog, and then a puppy a couple years later. I have also house/pet sit for a family friend for the past few years as well. They have 4 dogs (ranging from 15 lbs to 100+ lbs) and 3 cats. I have a good rapport with both groups and can provide references if needed! I also have experience with sitting a 1 cat household as well for one of my friends. In my household, my sisters and I have potty-trained and skill-trained every one of our family pets (we have had 4 now). I have experience with giving pets medications as they need following the owner’s specific instructions. I don’t work weekends there so I have pretty much open availability every weekend. 😊 I currently live at home with my parents and sisters, so I do not offer pet sitting at my home at this time. I have pet sat for people in different home styles (apartment, single-level home with small yard, two-story home with big yard). I have always followed every owner’s instructions and rules to a T. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
