“We needed a safe place for our best friend to stay while we visited a spa. We were so happy to have found a wonderful and safe place that gave us updates and pictures. Thank you so much! Your son is definitely one of our dog’s favorite sitter.”

“We love Kristen! Chewby is smitten with her and so am I. She is great with his special needs, being a puppy. Kristen has a laid back attitude but is very responsible. Her home is comfortably dog friendly with a large park around the corner. I searched and searched for a suitable dog sitter and finely found an excellent one with Kristen. Highly recommended!”

“Stevvi was great with our paraplegic dog! When we picked him up he seems very comfortable and happy and when we did shoot a message during the day to check on our pup she got back to us within minutes. We absolutely will book with Stevvi again.”

“We are only in Santa Fe for the weekend and Katie was willing to work with us with little notice. She clearly has a great deal of experience, was great at communicating, and our pup felt comfortable with her and her husband right away. Katie sent photos and gave us updates on how things were going throughout the day. Would happily wort with Katie again.”

About: I’ve spent the past 5 years rescued animals, volunteer at shelters, and caring for pets of all kinds.I currently have a 10month old German Shepherd mix who loves playing with all kinds of dogs, kids, and people. Right now, I’m available for full-time pet care on weekends. I work a full-time job during the week but I’ll be fully available for pet care throughout the entire month of July. I live in a pet-friendly apartment and take my dog to the dog park every day. We also go hiking often! I’ll treat your beloved pet like family in your home or mine!☺️ I’m also very flexible with schedule changes or anything!

“Thank you so much for taking care of our little buddy today. We super appreciate you being able to take him last minute while we went on our adventure. Dominic is in great spirits, and we can tell he had a wonderful day with you. Thank you again, and we look forward to reaching out when we are back in Santa Fe.”

“Rupert had another great day, was sound asleep when we picked him up, from being nice and relaxed while staying there all day. Slept like a log and was in a great spirit the next day, that's great dog care.”

“This was the second time Patris watched our dog and she was great: friendly, responsive and flexible. Our dog came back happy and tired. We will definitely contact Patris again.”

About: I was very lucky to grow up in a house with many pets, including many dogs, cats, fish, and birds. I love all types of dogs from tiny shitzus, to the largest Rottweilers. I also love all cats, from the ultra-fluffy cuddlers to the lone-lions. I believe that all animals deserve loving homes and that they are essentially doing their best; and it is us as owners who can show them how to behave, communicate, and love in our hooman world. I have pet-sat for my family and friends many times over the years, and have experience in animal rehabilitation, including dogs and cats with medication needs and injuries. My partner and I have a sweet German Shepherd/Golden Retriever who we’ve raised and trained since she was a puppy, and we have a cuddly rescued turkish angora cat. They mean so much to us! I strive to give other pets the same level of love while their hoomans are away. I work remotely with a very flexible schedule. I’d be available to come feed, play, walk, and hang out with your furry friends at most hours of the day on any day of the week— and would be open to overnight stays as well! Sometimes I travel for work, in which I would let clients know in advance when I am not available. I am an excellent communicator and will be available for calls/texts and updates whenever appropriate. I will make sure to note all client details down so that I do not miss any important routines. If/when we offer boarding or day-care, we have a large fenced backyard for the pupps to play in (supervised). We ask that any dogs we board be cat-friendly, and non-aggressive.

“Leahlani was awesome! Super responsive with our last minute request and she took great care of kona. She gave detailed feedback as to how Kona did and was available throughout the care experience to text. Would highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm Eva! I’ve had dogs and been surrounded by pets my whole life. I currently have a 3 year old Portuguese Water Dog, Claude. He craves social time with other dogs (big and small) and demands at least two trips a day to the grassy park down the street. He is very active and loves to hike or run after work when it's cool out. He loves learning new tricks and recently passed his Canine Good Citizen test. I work from home Monday - Friday and have a fenced in yard in the back if the dogs are desperate to get some energy out sooner rather than later! I work Monday - Friday on East Coast hours so am usually done by 3/3:30 to get the dogs out and enjoying the sunshine. I am able to take breaks throughout the day for walks to the park and around the neighborhood. We love to go for a run or hike after work when it is cool out! I am available all day, able to provide excellent communication and attention for your dog. I have a fully fenced in backyard that the dogs can play in anytime they wish.

About: Raised, trained & showed Brittany Spaniels for 25 yrs. Owned rabbits, multiple cats & different dog breeds while living in the country on 20 plus acres. Recently put down my 24 yr old tuxedo shelter cat, "Serenity". I live in an ideal neighborhood close to the plaza, trails & Marcy Community Park for walking your pet. My backyard is enclosed. I very much look forward to meeting & caring for your pet. I have often been told I am "a pet magnet." I am a retired 72 year old single gal so I have lots of time to devote to your pet. I enjoy frequent walks in my neighborhood. Hiking is a possibility if owner agrees. I have an enclosed backyard. I do not have children nor do I smoke. I would walk your pet on a leash frequently & create space & a distance from other dogs. Written instructions would be preferable about your pet.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 6 years old. I have a 3 year-old Portuguese Water Dog who loves to have friends stay over. He’s incredibly friendly and welcoming to dogs staying over. I have a fenced yard (with GRASS!). I work from home so your dog will be given constant love and attention. Long walks are a must—especially to the two parks that are 5 minutes away. I work from home full time and have plenty of time throughout the day for walks. I am happy to pick up your dog from your home and bring them to ours! Claude, my 3-year-old Portuguese Water Dog, has had plenty of sleepovers lately and loves having a friend to hang out with at home. He’ll show your dog our fenced-in grassy yard, will gladly share his spot on the couch, and will advocate for your dog to get treats all day!

“My boys were instantly comfortable with Cressandra. It was remarkable. They are shy dogs, but day 1 of doggy daycare they already did zoomies, made themselves at home on the couch, and ate their full meal.”

About: I grew up overseas in a family that seemed to always have at least four dogs at home. My first dog (that truly felt like my own) was Lapsi, a beautiful crossbreed, that followed us home one day and never left. She went on to live with us for 16 years, giving birth to several generations of pups that we took care of and distributed across the Valley into caring family homes. In The States my first dog was not actually mine, but my freshman roommate's chestnut lab that he brought from home and that we both took care of - and now, full circle, my current roommates have 3 dogs! I think that qualifies me as a dog person, even if only by association. Throughout it all, I have learned to love our furry friends in all their variety: to receive love from them, to take care of them, watch over them, and even occasionally take urgent action to protect their well being. Pets have been a big part of my life and I'd love to share this enthusiasm with you. In the end it's a relationship that requires a little bit of nurturing and a whole lot of love. Cheers thanks for considering me! I'm currently in between work so I have ample time to afford your animal. In the heat, I find it's best to walk out side of peak hours - but depending on the naimal I am willing to forage in the midday heat. I have a compound with an animal gate that can provide security for most sizes of animals. It's important that all animals have spaces that are appropriate for them and if not that they can access a space that's suits them on a daily basis.

“Althea and Josh were awesome for our baby boy blue. They kept us informed with him and sent great pictures of him. The only draw back was they're location from us tourists. However, we would use them again if and when we come back to Santa fe. Good peeps!!!”

Russell S.
“Russell grew up with loving dog companions and learned early in life about the responsibilities and privileges of dog care. He is devoted to his 3 year old Portuguese Water dog: taking him for long runs, mountain hiking, swimming, and participating in a play group for dogs. He has carefully trained his dog to be an excellent canine community citizen and reading therapy dog at our library. He knows how to consistently and lovingly set expectations and boundaries using positive reinforcement. He is always proactive in keeping dogs safe, healthy, and happy. In short, Russell is extremely professional, caring, reliable, responsible and safe. I can’t recommend him highly enough.”

“Andrea is amazing! She LOVES the dogs and they love her. She is extremely responsible and attuned to them; she has great skill in handling all types of dogs.
