I worked at a doggy hotel for several years while in college and have experience working with breeds ranging from terriers to Great Danes. I would love to take care of your dog while you are away. I am currently in school for Medical Ultrasound so I am pretty busy, but if you need someone to watch your pet during nights, mornings, or weekends I’m you’re girl! I have 4 dogs and 2 cats of my own and I have experience working in a doggy daycare for 2 years, so you can be sure that your animal is in good hands :) I’m currently in clinicals full time during the week, so I work 4 10 hour shifts sometime Monday-Friday. Every other weekend I work a part time job from 5:30 in the morning to 1 or 2 in the afternoon Saturday and Sunday. If you are willing to work around these hours, I would love to take care of your animals and help out where I can! I usually like to do a visit before with pet owners to see if I’m a good match for them. Also, I will never take on more than one job at a time so I will always be able to give your pets my full time and attention. When booking me for housesitting, I can stay at your house and watch your animal or I can come by to check on them at set times. I do not offer any services in my own home.

First off, I am a full time student at Ohio Northern University where I currently am apart of the Polar Paws program as a Secondary Trainer. This program allows college students to care for and train future service dogs. As a secondary trainer, I would work with various dogs on campus by training and sitting them while their primary caretaker is busy. Prior to university, I volunteered at the Van Wert County Humane Society where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and all breeds. This consisted of walking the dogs, cleaning cages, cleaning litter boxes, playing with the animals, etc. Currently I am available anytime during the day and anytime of the week, until I update my availability when I need to go back to campus. I care for pets as if they are children. They need attention, respect, and when being babysat, a good time! That being said, in my own home they have access to their own food, water, play area, and have set potty breaks. In a clients home, the same will apply. Any alternative toys, medications, and food can be used most definitely if requested by client. Always a clean and tidy environment before and after.

About: I have a lot of experience working with animals, as I have grown up with animals of all kinds growing up. This includes many cats and dogs, some farm animals, and several exotic pets like raccoons, skunks, and flying squirrels. There have been many times my family and I have had the opportunity to rescue and rehab an animal for it to regain its health. I would be willing to help any days I am available during the week. I also stay up late, so I would be very helpful to people who work 2nd - 3rd shift schedules, or for people who go out during the evenings.
