About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.

I’m a full-time high school interpreter and a lifelong animal lover. During the school year, I spend my days helping students thrive in the classroom — and now that summer’s here, I’m excited to dedicate my time to caring for your pets! I like doing research on the neighborhoods that I’m going into if it’s a new area, and like to understand what you have available, either a dog park, or a fenced backyard, to really understand how to best care for your dog. My dog is a big ball of energy so I have learned a lot of skills to be able to make sure that they stay in their assigned spaces, I do like to keep them with me on my lap as I work, or nearby letting them enjoy a nap.
