Charlie is not particularly fond of people and I was a little nervous about how he’d react but by the end of the second day she had won him over and he followed her outside along with the other 2. I’m physically active and I am able to take the most energetic dogs on a long walk, carrying enough for the special needs dogs, and patient and understanding for the shy or picky ones.

About: We are a military couple who have a small hobby farm and love animals! We have 3 goats and a miniature horse who live on our property. Additionally, we have 4 cats, 2 of which require speciality care and a German shepherd mix dog! We have experience caring for equines, small animals, cats and dogs! We also have cat rescue experience having volunteered for a cat rescue for 9 years! We have fostered cats in the past as well! My wife is currently studying for the bar exam and thus has a very flexible schedule! I would be able to join on weeknights and on the weekends! We have three fenced in paddocks. Our dog loves to run around in the backyard. For our cats, we have four litter boxes that get scooped daily and provide them with wet food at night!

About: On walks, I’ve been known to smile at dogs yet frown at the owners. Not really, but it’s true that seeing pets on walks is my motivation for doing them in the first place. I only have one little pupper (Bella) who is 14 years old! Although she has the energy of a toddler, the way she follows me into any room any time I’m in the house is something I’ll miss when she’s gone. We take walks daily, and I’m careful not to over feed her or harm her in any way. About: I've been around dogs my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally. From energetic puppies to senior dogs needing extra love and support, I’ve had experience with all stages of life. I’ve also cared for dogs with health issues, so I understand how important patience, attentiveness, and gentle care can be. Whether it’s playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I treat every dog like family. I’m currently staying at home before I start medical school in the fall, so my schedule is all open any day of the week for pet care!
