I had to have a security clearance for my employment because I visited daily numerous hospitals. I had to undergo a thorough background check, which was repeated yearly, in order to receive this clearance.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and got my own dog when I was 14. Now there are 3 dogs at my house that I take care of during the day. I am attentive to the behavior of dogs and have a general understanding of it. I currently working a part time job so I will be able to care for your animals early in the morning or in the evening. I will go on walks, play games and give your dog plenty of attention. I usually let the pets decide what activities they are comfortable doing with me, especially when they are a new client. I like to get my steps in, so I will walk your dog as little or as much as possible!

About: I have ample room and time to love on your fur babies!! I currently do not have any dogs but love them all! I also have a basement with a separate gate if your pet needs space by itself. I live close to the mountains so if you want to take the day to hike/explore sperryville I am your go to:) I work from home and love my animals!! I am fortunate to have the flexibility to take care of my farm animals and others when needed. I own a small farm with plenty of space for walking and also have a fenced in garden than I can use during the colder months for secure play for dogs.

About: I've taken care of sick dogs, dogs on diets, and dogs that are used to a routine, but am able to take care of any situation. I love to be around animals and will happily make sure your dogs are kept safe and happy. I work Full-time Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday from 8:30 - 4:30 and Wed from 11 -7. I am happy to come "home" each day after work to your home and stay during the workweek, I just will not be able to be with them until after work during the week. I am fully available on most weekends, so just let me know what works! For the dogs I have taken care of before, I always walk with leashes, even for well trained dogs, I will be new to them. I always pick up after dogs on walks. I have owned cats and dogs all my life, and am very comfortable with any dog or cat. I will keep doors locked when inside and of course when leaving the house.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 20 years. I started when I lived in Centerville. Grew up around dogs and cats and horses. Will stay at the clients house with the animal. If the client prefers the comfort of their pet I am reliable, Love animals, have references. Will do meet and greet and do some time with pet to make sure pet is comfortable with me before the job date. I will talk to you about specific things about your pet you prefer to make sure everything is done your way. I just graduated from nursing school so right now I am looking for a job and doing part time work on the side along side of this. Your dog still gets my attention and needs that are required and then some. I stay in the home if I need to. I feed in one of the animals walked the animals we needed. I play with the animals. I cuddle with the animals and show love to the animals.

About: As the daughter of a pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve been caring for animals from an early age. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling.
