Additionally, I have also raised two dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We had to say goodbye to our beloved, old shitzu this past year. About: I have a lifetime of experience with pet care, which began with helping my mom run her in-home dog boarding business when I was growing up. The skills and experience that I've gained in that time enable me to provide the best possible care for your pet. I live with my girlfriend who is a veterinary technician with over 15 years of experience. Ours is a loving home, with a large, securely fenced yard. Our top priority is to keep your dog safe, feeling comfortable, and relaxed, just as they would be in their own home. I offer boarding, walks, in home visits, and more. I am comfortable giving meds, preparing special diets, and caring for puppies as well as seniors. I used to train and show dogs when I was younger, and can help get your puppy off on the right foot with house training. Dog sitting is my only job, and my flexible schedule revolves around that. I can be available at any reasonable time for pick-up and drop off appointments. I'm home almost all of the time to be with the dogs, only leaving to run brief errands when necessary. All dogs are cared for in my home. I have a large, securely fenced in back yard. During the day, dogs are free to be outside to play in the backyard as much as they wish. All dogs sleep in large crates or X-pens in our comfortable dog room at night, or when we are not home. We have a young cavalier who would be happy to have new friends to play with. For safety, I separate dogs for feeding and if we're out of the house, although it's rare that no one is home. Guests need to like other dogs and people.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have cared for several family dogs over the years, including American Akitas and a Husky and Australian Shepherd mix. I’m comfortable with different breeds, personalities, and energy levels. I enjoy walks, playtime, and making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I recently graduated and am currently looking for a job, which gives me a flexible schedule during the week and on weekends. I have plenty of time to provide pets with attention, playtime, walks, and companionship. I enjoy making sure pets stay active, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I have a comfortable home with plenty of trees, nearby walking trails, and a river area where dogs can enjoy outdoor time. Since my yard is not fenced, I always use a leash and supervise dogs during potty breaks and walks to make sure they stay safe. I also have my own cat, Eartha, who is friendly and enjoys meeting people. I understand that every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to help them feel comfortable and follow each owner’s instructions to provide the best care possible.

About: We are Brittani and Dylan, co-owners of Safe Paws! We have been taking care of pets individually our entire lives. We both had family pets growing up and Brittani also grew up on a farm. We have 2 years of professional experience boarding, daycare, walking, and drop in visits. We are both comfortable with administering medications, bathing, and nail trimming. We love being active with our pets and always use positive reinforcement. our boarding and daycare services are offered in Dylan’s home in Victor, NY. Pets in our care have access to a fully fenced in yard and free rein of the home. We also have a medium-large sized fenced-in indoor dog park equipped with rubber mats for comfort, toys, beds, and an agility course. We treat all pets as if they are our own. We do prefer crating at bed time only, but can accommodate for pets that do not feel comfortable sleeping in a crate. We are only accepting small to medium sized dogs and cats at this time. We can be flexible with pet sitting needs and are able to provide services during the day, evenings and weekends. We provide boarding, sitting, drop in visits, and walking. We do not provide housesitting overnight at this time. Your pets will have free rein of the home as well as access to a fully fenced in yard and a medium-large sized indoor dog park. We always use positive reinforcement and love giving training treats for a job well done! Although we have a fenced in yard we do still like to give walks at least once a day. If boarding we do prefer you bring your own food, but we do have pedigree high protein dog food as back up if you forget!

About: I’ve taken care of my dog as well as other owners’s dog. People I know around me are willing to trust me with their dogs. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time after 2pm. I can also come in later of the day if there’s any needs. I lived in a pet-friendly apartment with an explicit pet park built inside the apartments. I had experience walking a grown German Shepard so I can crate vast majority of dogs.

About: I’ve had pets since I was born. I love to take my dog on walks at the beach and play in the yard with him. I am attentive to any reactions they might have to their surroundings as well. I’ve been looking for a job during the week days and I figured why not try this out to maybe help some families live their life if they’re on vacation or super busy. I have a friendly dog who will keep any pets company. I have a big yard with sun or shade if any dogs love to be outside. I also have crates if dogs need to be crated during the night or day.

About: Hi! I’ve loved animals since I can remember, visit the zoo every chance I get, and enjoy every minute with my sister’s doodles. Mostly I have had large dogs: German Shepard, Akita, Bernese Mountain Dog, Swiss Mountain Dog, Husky. Living in the Adirondacks for the last 20+ years, I have cared for puppies, dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, and fish. No matter how spoiled, or particular, or perfect your furry friend is, I’m sure we’ll be new besties. I support, and encourage healthy behaviors and a loving environment. I work from home, and could potentially work from your home if your pets need continuous company. When I have my sister’s doodles, we walk in the morning before work, at lunch, and after work. I’ve been in the Adirondacks for 20+ years. There is no bad weather. My breaks give us time to snuggle, or a quick pee break. The older doodle needs shorter walks in the shade, so sometimes we need to adjust. I thoroughly enjoy the dog park and all the breeds it has to offer. With a little planning, I could certainly accommodate your pet’s needs. Some pets just need to stay home. If you have high speed, secure internet I can hang with your beloved pet all day Monday through Friday. On the weekends I’m happy to fit in an adventure, play around the yard, or snuggle by the window depending on what your pet is up for. If you are looking for a dog walker, I have a lot of extra large breed experience and there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear.
