About: I’ve cared for many dogs in my neighborhood and for family friends since I was 12. I have a lot of experience with small and large dogs. I enjoy walking them and playing with them. I’m a current college student with a very flexible schedule. I’m happy to work with whatever needs you have for your pet in your home. About: I've always loved animals and felt drawn to them! I've been around animals my entire life, I grew up with cats and dogs (over the years I've had 7 cats and 3 dogs!) and been around other people's pets. Throughout high school I pet sat for friends and family and loved it. I'm not amazing at training but I've picked up a little bit of knowledge from watching my sister train my dog over the years. I am a full-time college student at Ursinus College (where I also work part-time as a tutor). I am free on weekends and weekdays after 2pm besides Thursday (available after 5:30pm). I have been volunteering at a local dog rescue, To Love a Canine for about 7 years now as a dog handler!! I love working with animals! I have had dogs all my life actually! I currently don’t have any pets of my own, but I previously owned a black lab/ border collie mix named Abigail, although she passed in 2012 because of old age and unfortunately cancer. She kept me updated throughout the week with messages and adorable pictures, and spent so much tine playing with him. Makinzie was amazing!! She was able to help us last minute which was extremely helpful. She sent lots of photos and her communication was great. She even went out of her way to clean up after our dogs and bring a package in for us. Definitely will be using her again!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
