Top rated Rena house sitters

“This was my first time using Rover.com. Our sitter Kae was wonderful with our two newly adopted dogs and sent us daily updates via photos and video. She had no problem watching out for our geese and feeding our wild birds. She provided us peace of mind, knowing someone dependable was watching our home.”

“Bevin made fast friends with our Bella for a housesitting. Bella did not want her to leave! Our girl was much more happy and less stressed with Bevin staying with her.”

“Cassidy provided wonderful care for my girl, pepper. Pepper has a lot of energy and some separation anxiety and Cassidy did a great job meeting those needs and always kept me updated with photos and detailed messages. 🙏🏼”

“Crystal was our first ever pet sitter, and she made it a great experience! She listened to our instructions thoroughly and sent us lots of updates with pictures, which we loved. She helped ease both our and our pup’s anxiety about being apart! She took great care of our home, leaving it even cleaner than we left it. We will without a doubt hiring Crystal again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Alexander arrived on time and communicated throughout the stay. The house was tidy upon our return. Alexander put in additional effort by watering our plants when he noticed they were drooping and refilled my hummingbird feeders. Our two dogs were well cared for and we are sure they barely noticed we weren’t around!”

“According to Bailey, our Maltese, Pat treated him with attention and affection like never before (except from us) while we were away on Christmas vacation: he frankly hated to see her leave. Pat responded to our enquiry promptly and met with us on two occasions to get all the details regarding staying in our home, including Bailey's culinary details and exercise and sleeping preferences. Upon our return we found everything as we had left it and a very happy Bailey eager to have us go on another vacation in order to have fun with Pat again. We highly recommend Pat as she saved the situation for us. Initially, we did some "interviews" with a local kennel but were rejected since all Bailey did during the "all day trial" was try to escape. On future trips, Pat will be the first person we'll contact for the job.”

“My Arthur is very shy but within minutes of meeting Stacy he had cuddled up behind her on the couch. She sent just the right amount of communication from me and made it easy since this was my first time working with a house-sitter. I hope to work with Stacy again and highly recommend her.”

About: Neighbors and friends have often relied on me for pet care in their home. I have experience with all age dogs, but especially with seniors. I’m retired and available to help out when you’re either working, need to get away for a few days or busy and just need a helping hand. I do well caring for pets in friends’ and neighbors’ homes per their instructions; and by following exactly what they would like me to do.

About: I have taken care of animals and I have had multiple different kinds myself. I love all kinds of animals and like to show them love like they show us. Im currently home all day with the kids. My husband works days but is home at night. We also have a teenager in the home who is very responsible and will help out. I have two friendly dog and two catswe have a small yard but like to go on walks. We are outside as much as we can.

About: I have taken care of dogs of my own and other people’s dogs and cats since I was around 10, and have been involved in dog training since I was 13, even training my own service dog. I also dabble in dog walking. I used to work at a pet supply store that had store cats, and one of my daily chores was taking care of them, too. So I am well versed in dog AND cat care. I am currently working part time with weekends completely freed up, so I can be available in the later afternoons, and evenings, and early mornings. At my own home I have a fenced yard, but if you need me to crate your dog or if you have your own safety preferences I am definitely willing to work with them. In your home it is obviously whatever rules you have for your house, and I will follow them.

“Drew was able to watch our pets as a last minute house sitting booking. He was great with our pets and they warmed up to him right away. He spent lots of time with them, left our house in good shape and was good at replying to all of our text while we were out of town. I highly recommend Drew to care for your pets.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Kalee! She was absolutely incredible with our dog Olive during an overnight stay at our home. Olive can be a little shy and slow to warm up to new people, but Kalee’s calm, patient approach made all the difference—by the end of the stay, Olive was completely smitten. It’s clear that Kalee genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and her intuitive, gentle demeanor helped build trust quickly. On top of being wonderful with Olive, Kalee was also extremely respectful and professional. She treated our home with care, left everything spotless, and kept us updated throughout, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We’re so grateful to have found someone we can trust, and we already look forward to booking with her again. Highly recommend Kalee to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and truly dog-savvy sitter!”

“Move to the area and we were without a pet sitter for our dear pup. Tricia took great care of Malcolm and also our house. We didn’t need to worry and we were away for a whole week. Tricia was a great communicator and gave us confidence everything would be okay. We highly recommend Tricia!”

“Great job taking care of the dogs when we went out of town for 3 nights. When we came back the dogs were happy, house was very clean, and the yard was picked up even though we didn't request it. Aspen was a great sitter.”

Tia B.
“Tia is the "dog whisperer"! She and dogs seem to have kindred spirits as they tend to warm up to her faster than to other people. Tia B. has a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and enjoys their company which seems to resonate with the doggies. She gets to know each dog on a personal level and tailors each dog's needs to them when she trains them or just spends time with them. While there are some people who go gaga over babies, Tia B. goes gaga over puppies; so, it's safe to say that she is definitely a "dog-person" and happily so. To Tia, animals are not pets; rather, they are family members deserving of mutual love and respect, which she pours out abundantly on her own "fur-babies". If you are looking for someone who will treat your beloved doggies and "fur-babies" just like family, then there is no better person than Tia B.”

Kristina J.

“Kristina was awesome and responsive and took great care of my pups. Didn’t barely leave a trace in the house and I had an overall pleasant experience working together.”

Rena pet parents share their Rover experiences
Buttercup was over the moon having Crystal spend the night and following day with her. I always felt my pup was in good hands. Since we had to travel for my husband's surgery, I was grateful to not have to worry about home. When she had a question about Buttercup's schedule she promptly asked (this was the first visit) and I think it all went swimmingly. Would definitely engage Chrystal again! Ellen Butchart
